As much as I loved what Josh gave us when he played with us, the truth is that his best years are now behind him & we got them here before he left.
At age 30, he aint coming back, it won't be happening.

We need some spark, and clearly Nu Brown farted on Pays pillow, so he's banished to Canterbury Cup.

Nu Brown and Lichaa off contract next season, and Wakeham constantly injured.

I say toss him the money on a 1 year deal with a club option to extend to 2 years.

2 year $400k a season deal, take it or leave it.

You ***** are off your meds. Accept the spoon, shipping back old players isn't fixing anything. Just making the long term fix take longer.

Yes he bleeds blue and white no doubt in the slights. We need to start looking at a 5 year program to right this fucking mess at the moment but, next you'll be telling me lets ship origin star mythbuy back.

Honestly whats the upside to bringing him back?

He still struggles with his composure at 30 years of age and if he hasn't sorted it now he never will and he's very injury prone now.

It's a big step back if we even contemplate bringing him here again.

But but but he set up two tries against penrith (and they lost 9-8) and has been injured for almost his entire time at west's. But he's got plenty of heart!! (and cash thanks to the tigpies)

I was glad we didn't pay overs to keep him and glad he was going but, id rather watch his penalties, brain exlposions and passion than anything ive seen on the paddock this year and maybe on the opposite side to Foran who knows?

Comes in cheap with a wealth of experience and new found maturity he lacked when with us.

One thing you could depend on Josh for was lifting the side when we were down in games.

New found maturity? When has he shown that on the field?

In the last few years with us he didn't do anything besides crab across field.

Every now and then a play comes off for him but there is plenty of bad ones in between.
