Seriously the Storm are coming across as complete campaigners. Yeah they released Pezet...wouldn't be because they have to pay Grant, Munster and co a new contract would it.

Parra have done nothing wrong, meanwhile Zac is as reliable as ever with contracts. Go and play in the ESL no one is stopping you mate. You just can't play NRL till 2028. Zac has to be the most up himself bloke in league...leaves Dragons to play centre at Parra okay, then shafted to the wing, then wants the r360...Parra agree to release under specific terms which were signed by his agent/lawyers/hiimself...now he wants to break these terms because the golden goose of r360 falls over. Dead set give him a month before he wants to break his next contract.

On the positive if he's not playing he might not lose NSW an Origin game by his goalkicking lol
 
I'm with Luke Keary on this (on The Bye Round last week) where he said that Parramatta should be able to hold an open "auction" for Lomax. Let all of the clubs bring their best offer and Parramatta should be allowed to choose the one that they like the most.

Let's just say you've got an ex girlfriend who left you for a guy she heard was very well endowed or wealthy. Turns out the guy wasn't interested and he was just a massive flirt. So now she's homeless and knocking on your door. I'd personally be politely telling her to leave. If someone walked away from me because they'd found someone else it'd tell me they don't value me much.

Basically he's playing a small violin for Lomax. Saying that Parra were desperate to offload Lomax, Lomax didn't even want to play rugby league when he sought his release and now they're (Parra) being big meaney poos by not letting him renig on the deal he agreed to by signing for them (Storm).

This turds vested interests are disgusting. He's willing to spout any bullshit if it gets him the player he wants. I'd love to see Melbourne slide down the ladder, miss the 8 and fall into obscurity over the next few seasons. They've been propped up by the NRL for long enough now IMO and they should be left to stand on their own.

They had no problem cheating the cap for all those years (probably still are the nrlols blessing) which included taking a possible premiership win from the Eels, don't think for a second think the Eels haven't forgotten about it and they should never do anything to help them at all, period.

It'll be interesting to see how much the support they have wanes if they have a few seasons of missing the 8. I did a quick google search and in the 25 years the storm have existed, only 6 players from Victoria have graduated into the Storms system.

So it's easy to make a case that the expansion into AFL territory can hardly be called a success at growing the grass roots of rugby league.

I was just addressing the scenario of Parra taking Lomax back.

I think they should be within their rights to ensure he doesn't make a direct competitor stronger without that competitor adequately compensating them. Adequately in this scenario seems to be that Parra wants a player. And they didn't try to make stipulations that he not go overseas to play. So technically they're not preventing him from getting another boyfriend if we step back to the relationship analogy.
 
Feeling dirty for defending Parra but I think I wouldn’t have an issue with Lomax going to another team if there was a tender process. If all teams had the opportunity to get Lomax and could offer someone back.
