THERE won't be many more passionate players than Bulldogs rookie Jon Kite. A local junior, Kite will realise a childhood dream when he debuts at prop tomorrow night against Souths. He fell in love with the Dogs aged eight after having his jersey signed by Terry Lamb at Belmore, and has attended every home game since. His devotion didn't stop once he started playing for the club. A few weeks ago the big prop forked out several hundred dollars to watch the team play the Storm in Melbourne. The Bulldogs were thrashed 46-0, but that didn't faze Kite, who helped the team load up for the trip home.

My Old team, i can relate to Kite's passion hope he keeps it, its tough out there. i know he will do right for the club... this is what we need players with passion for the club, not passion for the money, i guess if kite has a game at belmore it will fullfill his dreams... Belmore = Bulldogs = Passion = Family = Culture.

Good luck to Kitey. You can tell how much he has worked this year on his game to get to where he is. His fitness and involvement from the start of the year until now has improved out of sight. This guy has huge potential and with a full off season of training could be a real star next season.

Sensational to hear his love for the club. Makes me infatuated with the kid even more. Lets hope that passion and love remains for the club for years to come and that it is reciprocated by the club with some loyalty and we could have the makings of a great partnership with John because I think he has the tools and attitude to be one of the best props in the game.
