I don't think a NSW court would convict an innocent cardinal as a payback to the church.
Someone put in a complaint and pushed their point until the end, big effort.

I know it was a big effort. But the fact is there was no concrete evidence. Simpy going on testimonies is not enough in my opinion. Added to this, it was a 2-1 vote, meaning one of the judges was far from convinced!

Well on days like this I'm glad I work in an office. Absolutely soaking out there (thankfully).

The 'fine cotton' fiasco, the horse switch saga made me laugh, dopey pricks.
And I won a hundred on 23 yesterday.

Spotting a rare Red-Tailed or Yellow-Tailed Black-Cockatoo in the wild.

Loved these native birds since I had a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo as a pet when I was a kid.

Also had an ex girlfriend who loved a black cockortwo.

Love our native falcons and eagles.
Makes bald eagles look like their mid afternoon snack in size comparison xD

I have driven around Australia and can tell you that wedge tail eagles are huge and I had to swerve to miss a few as they wouldn't leave their roadkill meal as I approached.

Was told that they are very slow to take off from the ground and many cars have hit them at window level.

I did however hit an emu running like the road runner across the road heading to Monkey Mia.

Did some damage to the front of my car and it just got off the ground and keep going.

Was also told the same thing had happened on the same stretch of road but the back seat window was open and an emu ended up in someones car and scratched the shit out the the interior roof.

Also saw a big red kangaroo up close at the hotel heading off the highway to Uluru and its was bigger than me standing up with huge muscles and scary as shit.

Must admit that the bald eagles in Alaska are also huge and noble looking.

I reckon walking in nature, bush walking and stuff like that is under appreciated by a lot of people these days.. I walk the fire trails near me quite a bit and it's funny because there are so many of them... yet most people up here don't even know they exist.. but anyway... nothing like loading up on caffeine and going on a 10 hour solo mission into the middle of nowhere

Hope you take an EPIRB, so the volunteer emergency members don't have to spend days trying to find you if SHTF.

I got a riddle for ya.

What's the best way to ruin both avocado and mango?

Infuse them in the same salad!

I was walking along the lake near my place one time and spotted a random hipster girl eating an avocado with a spoon... who does that.
