Nothing disgusting about a patriotic home crowd, another cake walk win your right about, because she was just to good. 3 Grand slams is a huge achievement, she beat everyone put in front of her 3 times now. What have you done in life?

She is one of the best sport stars we have in this country, tonight showed it down 5 - 1 in the 2nd set and she fought back to win it. Not to mention she is probably the most humble sports star we have, never cocky and never makes excuses when she does loose.

im talking about shouting out on collins second serve and cheering on her errors, whenever it happens around the world it gets called disgusting and this should be no different

she beat a handful of very ordinary players 3 times now, leylah fernandez beat kanepi, osaka, kerber, svitolina and sabalenka, thats 3 top 5 players in a single grand slam without winning the title, barty is 0-5 in her grand slam career against top 5 players and in the same tournament her mental strength was not working when the crowd was against her and she choked away a 5-2 lead in the early rounds

the good news is there is more tennis to be played so we will soon find out if she is really that good or steven bradbury lucky

She can only play who is in front if her...and she is showing her skill and class as she does so. No other womens player has all the shots like she does atm.

they threw out fans for doing the same thing in the very next match, this is well established that you stay quite for the point and certainly the serve, its like making a noise on a golfers backswing, fair enough if its an exciting rally and its natural reaction but this is premeditated fuckery from the crowd

also they booed collins when she tried to complain about it, she got some motivational help from it but it clearly got to her and she collapsed much like barty collapsed last year against the american in the 3rd round

btw has the WTA gone back to the normal traditional year long ranking system?, if she doesn't have to defend her points then im concerned that barty is going to stay in australia for a whole year again and hide from being exposed, like what happened last time

Was pretty good seeing her win last night.
Ash made some shockers beginning of the 2nd set where she didnt capitalize.
I actually thought if Collins had kept her cool, could have went down to the wire anyone's game.
But Ash remained focused and fought back.

she had no competition because she was so good, i hear this argument come up in different sports and it is very stupid logic

so if serena was a much worse player and then other players around her were winning grand slams, you could say that she was better because she only won 10 slams but was competing against all these champion players?

i put up serena as the yardstick because she was the yardstick, after graf retired there was hingis starting to dominate, but once serena overtook her, crushed her directly in matches and held all the grand slams at the one time, hingis decided at 22 that she didn't want to play tennis anymore and wanted to spend more time horse riding in switzerland

monica seles also had the urge to retire at 29, vicario retired, davenport and the other contenders of the past like mary pierce kept playing on but they were done winning anymore grand slams

sharapova usually dominated everybody else but serena dominated her for a decade, another serena punishment for having the audacity to be the number 1 player, say what you want about sharapova but she took that shit and never tried to avoid serena despite all the evidence that she was about to get crushed in a big match with a large audience

so how about an almost 41 year old serena on a last hurrah against much improved and finished product barty at her best surface wimbledon 2022?

my penis will be excited for that match even though it isn't very attracted to either player, it will be pulling for serena
