So this is how the ladder sits at the end of this round. Except for Broncos (Defence), all other teams are performing how they should be to define the Top 8.
This explains why the Top 8 is already pretty much locked in for this season.
On the flipside the bottom 8 are interesting.
UNDERPERFORMING TEAMS
Raiders - have 2nd best attack in the comp, and if not for defence should be around 6th (shifting Warriors out of 8).
Sea Eagles - like the Raiders have good attack, but defence has let them down. Should be about 11th not 13th.
Cowboys - In 14th with 12th best attack and 9th best defence, technically should be 12th. Attack has let them down.
Bulldogs - 11th best for both attack and defence isn't anything to be proud of, but in recent games will have turned around for the better. Technically should be around 13th on the table.
Eels - With 14th worst attack and defence, technically the Eels should be 15th, but that isn't saying much.
ON PAR TEAMS
Tigers - performing about on par in 10th position.
OVERPERFORMING TEAMS
Titans and Knights - Their attack is what has prevented them being in a worse position on the ladder. Should be lower on ladder based on defence.
