ok
We all saw it, billy slater shoulder charged to save a try

By the rules should get a suspension
By the rules he shouldn’t be eligible to play in the grand final

What is the NRL to do about this?

My guess,
sweep it under the carpet and allow billy to play

Now, it will be just another one of his grubby game tactics that are not his go
He is just competitive
Or some other excuse

Fuck I am with everyone else

The NRL IS FUCKED

Saw it on a replay and yeah under the rules they could go one way or the other.

Am over the double standards and posturing of the NRL, they will say what they want to say and do what they want to do..

Illegal tackle to stop a try, penalty try or sin bin for most players
For billy Slater penalty sufficient will play grand final and probably turn the clock back to 2007 and go studs up all game

If I had to put my 2cents in,
* definite penalty and depending upon carry over points probably 1 week suspension.
* No penalty try due to the fact that he actually could have tackled instead and had a very good chance of stopping him due to how close he was to the side line.
* If being honest I would maybe have done the same thing.

More than likely they will rort it for him to play, but the best part is people will rip into the nrlol whether he plays or not. Their precious GF is already contraversal and the nrlol will put themselves in disrepute.

It's lose lose for them and I'm loving it.

Remember Cam Smith getting rubbed out of a GF?

I don't have a problem with using the shoulder untucked in that scenario and not to the head. Not in general play outside of a try scoring opportunity

The whole shoulder charge ban was another stupid over-reaction from the unprofessional nrlol.

If you make contact with the head then far enough, but all they did was take one of the manly aspects out of this game for boys they have now.

The duds have just opened up themselves to disrepute, as we are going to see all week now.

pffft nothing in it, if he misses a game for that the NRL is even more of a joke than first thought.

What a load of crap. I don't care who the player is but rugby league is a physical sport where you put your body on the line at all costs.
He didn't attack the head and making that cover tackle at speed, with the possibility of Feki stepping back inside is a split second decision, no harm was done. Penalty fair enough and lets leave the rest on the field.

If it was a Dogs player getting charged I would be pissed!
