If we want to solve problems, it's important to identify the issue which would include understanding who has been going around suggesting that 'all cops are pigs' and that police are inherently racist/oppressive/bad people.
Why??? To have some big game of finger pointing cat and mouse??

No thanks. I will leave that to the left v right poltics debate that goes on here.

We live in the age of information. Knowledge and research is only a click of a button away.

People need to be responsible and accountable for their own actions. Like the shooter, should be jailed for life. In relation to the protestors, what they chanted is disgraceful but didnt break any laws. So their consequence is me calling them disgraceful, uneducated animals.

If you don't address the problem, you are never going to solve it.

Your perspective of the problem is different to mine.

Mine is simple. You shoot (to kill or seriously injure) someone because of their race, religion or occupation. You're a ****. You deserve to be punished in a cunty way for the **** you are.

I don't care what influenced you. We, society as a whole, have access to the knowledge of the world at our fingertips. There is NO reasonable excuse/influence that negates your personal responsibility/accountability.

To buy into your narrative of influences, in my opinion, diminishes individual accountability of these horrible acts of violence.

You and Cap Jack can argue the symantics of it all hahaha. Doesn't change anything. This **** is a ****.

How is that different to my opinion? I believe the same thing.

Information is presented differently by different individuals and different media organisations. It's not normal for societies to all share the exact same belief. Unless you are forced to think something by a socialist or communist government.

Yeh. And if you're such a silly **** that you can't realise running upto two people sitting in a car and shooting them point blank is wrong, regardless of who is influencing you. You're an idiot. The responsibility falls on you.

See we all know where you are going with this. BLM. I just cant see, how you, an avid follower of religion (esp Christian texts) can throw stones in the "ideology" glasshouse.

There are 1000 different ideolgies and beliefs. All that condone alot of horrible acts amd prejudice. But its upto individual thinking to determine that killing = wrong, not killing = good etc etc

I don't see how being Christian means you can't point out that you fundamentally disagree with an organisation like BLM (or any organisation you have a difference of viewpoint on).

Tell me what part of Christianity says I can't have an opinion and voice it publicly?

Casting stones in glass houses would only apply if I was calling out BLM publicly, whilst doing the same things they do (i.e. rioting, looting and assaulting cops and other innocent folks).

I am in favour and support of anyone who treats others as a human being. Not because they have black skin or white skin or coloured skin, but just because they are a genuine human being.

My fundamental point of disagreement is because BLM advocate for harm to police and anyone who disagree with them.

If BLM was just an organisation seeking to find common ground between black america and the rest of America with sound policies, and advocating for peace and judging on the content of character instead of the colour of skin, then I would be fully in support of it.

Maybe someone smarter than me like @Hacky can explain it better.

Christian pastors in the states commonly participate in "homosexuality reversal" (including assaulting the homesexual until gay deamon leaves him), anti abortion protests which damage abortion clinics, Christians in Africa have slaughtered tens of thousands of muslims in the name of christ, as they believe the Bible allows it.

Would it be ok for me to judge the whole Christian ideology based on the actions of a few?

Remember, the bible condones thimgs like slavery, condones misogyny and homophoia. Black and white.

You are doing the same with BLM. Nit picking what you want about the ideology to suit your agenda

Thats what you're doing with BLM.
Did you really just compare Black Lives Matter with Christianity?

Yes. Both ideologies that in essence have good intentions but can corrupt individuals into doing horrible, wicked things.

So leads me back to my original point. I take the ideology out of the equation. And put responsibility on the individual.

I dont blame the ideology for trying to bash the gay out of a man. I blame the idiot priest who, in this day and age, can't realise that, that act, is fuked up and wrong.

Nah, you explain it fine. Dawg just has a completely unwavering ideology that he refuses to change no matter how well you explain it. That's why I stopped trying.

Why would I change my ideology which is based around treating people as individuals instead of on the basis of their skin colour.

Dawg: "someone killed two police officers"

Dog: "he should be arrested for breaking the law"

Dawg: "no, you don't understand. Black Lives Matter are the problem"
My clear point is the guy who shot them is scum.

my secondary point is the strong likelihood he has been influenced by the BLM narrative over the past 3 months which has sought to demonise police officers and Generally anyone who disagrees with BLM.

BLM would not exist if it wasn’t for a deeply ingrained historical problem with racism which continues to impact modern institutions. That is what you fail to acknowledge despite the fact you have been presented with ample evidence time and time again. People like you who deny there is a problem are a huge part of the problem. Also, you could probably count the number of “protesters” who turned up outside that hospital on one hand. Your attempt to paint their views as synonymous with the BLM movement and the majority of people who support it is a perfect example of why almost nobody on here takes you seriously any more. The vast majority of BLM supporters don’t want police officers to be shot. They just want a fair and equitable system.

Racism has existed since the dawn of time. There is less racism today than at any other point in human history.

good starting context.

should we individually always conduct ourselves in a way that we treat others as individual? Yes.

should we avoid being racist? Yes.

what should we do to make further advances? That is a good question And one which we can productively disagree on without acting like a spoiled brat and attempting to shut ppl down and prevent them from voicing their opinion.

Another question is whether any of the incidents in 2020 were in any way racist incidents. To date there has been zero evidence to suggest any of them had anything to do with skin colour.

I would prefer to make a big deal of calling out ACTUAL racism events when they occur instead of trying to conclude prematurely.

Like for example... a black officer shooting an unarmed white woman and being immediately arrested and charged with murder (and rightfully so), meanwhile a white police officer killing an unarmed black man and it's not considered to be a crime until the streets are on fire and the police commissioner needs to do something about it.

Two completely separate scenarios and you would need to look at the detail of each before reaching a conclusion.

Are you suggesting That every time a white cop shoots a black person that we must assume it’s racism?

It might be but until there’s actual evidence for it we should not assume so.

I believe I said "unarmed". Nice to see you omitted that vital detail.
