After hearing about this bullshit with Steve price it’s concerning that a story that had no legs was taken out of context but it was Danny wiedler little rat it is.
At the end of the day Steve is the manger of the team and it’s his job to have these convos with player in a pretty unique year I say tough Tits. These players under performed and the ones moved on were moved on for a reason. and after watching the 360 program tonight how Kenty and others said it was normal practice to hand back club/ company property by a certain date
And the justification being that a deep clean had to be done before the team started preseason so to me that’s a fair assessment and understandable for price to do what he did.

but if this story was leaked by a player current would be disappointed because isn’t it a unwritten rule that what’s said in team environment should be priverlige information?

and if it’s a ex player that’s been shown the door this year well that says a lot about your character there a reason why club ain’t lining up to sign our rejects

and if it’s a club staffer ex staffer that is the reason your fired unprofessional
Just seems like there is a rat amongst the organisation leaking these nothing story’s who ever it is needs to fucking go if they haven’t been assed already

Unfortunately it is a fact of commercial life these days that departing staffers are escorted off the premises with their personal belongings and everything post departure is handled by external, often 3rd party, arrangements. If you want to see this in action just watch the start of the movie “Margin Call”.
In the old days there were no lockers. Players simply lugged their stuff in their kit bags. Perhaps it could have been handled better but who knows what happened and why the timing was as it was.

Had to be.. U can see it in his face when they put the camera on him. Calf muscle my ass... Bloke hasn't been in injured for ten years and all of a sudden his out.

I feel the bloke because he put in so much every game but sadly that's just how it is.. it's not like he wasnt paid well for what he done.

Is there any truth to what Price said?
Does anyone actually know 100% for sure what he said?

The club has parted ways with so many individuals,and players in the last few weeks,that would not surprise if one of these was the culprit,second look who’s delivering the news,has this bloke weidler ever had positive news on our club ?,thirdly I have had the pleasure of meeting Steve price,certainly doesn’t come across,the way he’s been painted.

My mate was made redundant from his job.

He attended a meeting with HR and then got escorted out the building straight after the meeting. He got an excellent excellent payout.

They packed all his items on his desk and in his draws into boxes and couriered them to his house.

I don't know why the players are making a big deal out of it.

I got let go from my job a month after starting. There excuse was that I wasn't the man and that they didn't want to go on an 'emotional rollercoaster' with me. Worst part was they did not tell me face to face and I only found out about it from my Nova case manager. All of this crep despite them telling me that they were happy with me throughout my time.

What Price probably said;
"Hey guys don't forget that we are getting new lockers during the break so please make sure that you take all of your gear home before you go for a well deserved holiday".

How The Weasel reported it;
"Listen up scumbags, make you you get you shit out of here before you leave and don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out".

Effen terrible form from them.... wow!!!
It sounds like the movie "Up in the air" where Goerge Clooney (not George Coorey) is a contractor that flies all over USA just to fire people... the employers don't do it.

Seems the way of the world these days. I retired from one of Australia's best uni's in 2015 after 25+ years service. I worked at a Metroplitan Campus and my managers were located at the Main Campus in the city. From the time I handed in my retirement notice (in person) to one of my managers, until i walked out the door for the last time 4 weeks later i never saw any of my alleged colleagues ever again. When i got home there were numerous farewell emails in my inbox which i deleted, but never at any stage was i invited to a proper face to face farewell with my colleagues.

I was a reliable punctual employee rarely on sick leave while others around me rorted the system to the n'th degree.

I consider these colleagues lower class human beings and will never communicate with them again. My conclusion is that in this era staff get to managerial positions at too young an age well before their time and before they have done the hard yards.
