The wait in emergency was due to lack of beds.we were in one of the overflow areas waiting for a bed along with at my count around 6-7 others. They were thinking of putting daughter into a ward out of ICU as care level could be dropped but nil bed available. lol just when the cannulas came out so she could come home the nurse got the call bed available . Oh well at home and more relaxed. All is good up to date.our health system is less than ideal at times but no one can ever criticise the dedication and care of those who work in it.
The large majority? Yes.

Thoughts are with your family and you.
Glad there is a positive outcome to date.

A great reminder of how important blood doners are.d bad thing at the moment so can’t donate bypm
Thank you for your kind words. Yes blood donors are so important. My little girl is one herself and she said this afternoon the one bad thing about the operation and the transfusion she has to now wait 6 months to donate next.

I had to go into hospital this year, to get on new medication for my AF. Had to be monitored. Told to be at the transit lounge at 8am to get a bed quickly in the ward. 7 hours later, they got one for me.

Didn't know were to put this, But i witnessed the most amazing funeral ever today, Paul Griffo Griffin memorial Service at Hills Bulls Crestwood Oval, its on YouTube Livestream, A footy funeral hosted by Joel Caine, in attendance were Bulldog Josh Curran, Robbie Farrah, boxer Jai Opetaia and many more were there, 300 to 400 people there, Some amazing stories from his 3 kids Wife and Brother, This guy was Rugby League through and through as is his family still. He was so Humble and Generous, taken far to soon. RIP Paul and god bless all your family mate.

Hey Mr 95, thanks for checking in.

Tbh I’m just existing. I haven’t been on much as I haven’t been motivated to do anything the last few days. It’s not a feeling of deflation or being stagnant it’s just nothingness.
Hang in there. Might seem like nothingness but in reality brain and heart are processing and it takes time and uncomplicated quietness.

I read about his death & saw it on the news. He seemed like a great person.

West Tigers had a tribute about him.

Hope you are doing okay or at least a bit better today. As humans we go through a whole gamut of feelings and sensations depending on current circumstances. Try taking a deep breath, clear the mind, focus on things that mean something positive to you. Try to bring forward those things that make you feel more alive . I am certainly not belittling the way you are feeling at this time, and I would never dare to compare my recent feelings or experiences to yours but find comfort in the fact that things can and will be better. The simple fact that you have posted here shows you are doing what you can to work things out. Stay safe.

Hey all,
I’m still not doing the greatest. Usually I can bounce back quite quickly after dealing with a traumatic event but this one is stuck in processing mode and i believe it may take its time to actually filter through all the feelings and thoughts I have at the moment so, I’m just hibernating the best way I can atm

Appreciate all the love and support I’ve had on here honestly you all have no idea how much just asking how I am means to me.

Much love

Sorry to hear Steve, you've known him really well, My son was there he played with Jayden in Sydney Shield, they won Grand final against St Marys last year, Jayden was out injured, I Livestreamed funeral, I've known Griffo past 2 years only, great guy, they went on a harbour cruise this year and were at a pub first, and dragged some random Asian guy from the pub on the cruise with them. Lovely family. Don't think they will be doing anymore do's at the Etta. What a tragedy can't see why anyone would do that to such a nice humble guy.
