Had a growth cut out of my scalp today.... the doctor seems to think it’s probably benign, but still a bit anxious... I also have annual brain scans coming up in three weeks and I’m in a bit of a heightened state of anxiety at the moment...have been for a good slab of the year.

Also, a needle in the scalp is an experience I’d recommend avoiding, if possible. Not the most pleasant thing.
Good luck @utility half ... thoughts are with you :grinning:

Hi there ***** and cuntettes.

I've never really left just got way too lazy and also my antisocial / anxiety kicked in after not posting for a while. So my apologies. I have been casually stalking you all on here, and I will make more of an effort.

@south of heaven sorry for your loss brother
@ASSASSIN you continue to amaze and inspire me, love ya.

The rest of ya... I am way too lazy to read back on all the shit I have missed, but rest assured if I did, I would have some kind words for you all.

Me... It's been fucking hectic.
I'm no longer on the coast, we moved to Mount Annan (near Campbelltown) and I am now 20 mins from work (instead of 2 hours). Both my boys have been diagnosed with Autism (previously only the eldest had). Finally, I am having weight loss surgery in 2 weeks, because I am sick of being a fat Bastard.

No excuses for my absence, but I will try to be around more
Hey Ecca...

Mate how have you been!! Still whizzing about on those trains?

I noticed all the shiny new automatic trains are now berthed at NW Rail Interchange now ready for action :grinning:

Yeah man, LOVE the job, who would of thought I'd ever get paid to stare out a window (oh and you know move and stop the train).

I would 100% recommend the job.

As for the driverless ones.... Ewwwwwww!

Shes good we are lucky, she is high risk of developing a childhood cancer ,it also highly treatable we are ontop of things.
Unfortunately a lot of families dont have that same luxury .

Cryotherapy? Does that involve crying yourself to sleep at night, because if so, I'm one step ahead of the doctors!

Just a dumb joke to try and lighten the mood. That is treating the tissue with cold, right? The doctors seem confident that will solve your problem? Really wishing you the very best Wolfie.....take care of yourself. My thoughts are with you. I stuffed around for a few months as well. Thought it was a scab that would heal at first....then other stuff came up and it slipped my mind. I can't really detect any change since I first noticed it and the doctors don't seem to think it's anything too sinister, so I'm hoping it won't be a major drama....but a little anxious. I'm glad your hubby persuaded you to go and see someone too.
Lol at that joke.. How appropriate

But the hardest step is the first one . I waited an hour for the GP, kept looking at photos of moles and then the prognosis of melanoma, was working myself up so much that as soon as he said 'so what brought you here today? ' I didn't even take a seat, I lifted up my top and said 'this ugly mole:laughing: it was a scary moment ..in more ways than one I think lol

Anyhow I've calmed the f down and am going back to get it frozen off..

One thing about doctors is they rarely discuss a diagnosis with a patient if they think it's nasty. They'll order tests first then talk about the results with them.

I trust and hope all goes well with you

That must be so hard for all of you... but she sounds like she’s really strong and resilient, mate. Wishing you all the very best for the next five years and beyond.

Yeah, I’ve made a few late night appointments with Dr Google myself in recent times. It’s an easy thing to do.

Yeah, I’m telling myself the doc wouldn’t have said it didn’t look sinister if he thought it was something really worriesome. I now have to go back tomorrow because a cyst I’ve gad for a while gas become inflamed and infected. Feel like I may as well put up a tent in the waiting room considering how often I’ve had to go to see doctors lately.

I’m glad you’re feeling resolute and less daunted by things. Wishing you all the very best, too. I’m sure the treatment will go well.

Just summon your inner Assassin and demand to cut the sugar coated crap and don't lie. The Profs, docs and even nurses have learnt over the last 6+ years lol
