Hehe Wolfy - at my age I have beaten everything that has been thrown at me
I ALWAYS WIN !
All of a sudden they are running around and cannot do enough for me. I got specialist appointments and/or specific tests every day for the next 6 days. MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
At least they have confirmed I am not in danger of having my foot or leg amputated which looked to be a real threat.
Sometimes it can be a lot of fun being an absolute arsehole.

I discovered the power of being an arsehole a while back and realised how well it works. Now if anything is slightly off at a restaurant or anywhere they provide service then I complain like it's the end of the world and it always results in getting free shit.

Haha, works a treat! And glad to hear you're on the mend

Hospitals are businesses these days and do not want any bad press .if you've got a reasonable argument you'll most often than not be accommodated

PS congrats on the lucky win the other night

LUCKY WIN ??????????????????
In all fairness I reckon neither team deserved the 2 points.
We owned most of the 1st half - you owned the 2nd half BUT both teams were crap imo.
We'll take the 2 points though. Hehe

After our efforts over about two years and pretty much a LACK of support guess what the NRL are going to do??????????

http://www.nrl.com/nrl-tackles-organ-donor-registration/tabid/10874/newsid/110552/default.aspx

The National Rugby League (NRL) and the Turnbull Government have kicked off a lifesaving partnership to mark the start of DonateLife Week, aiming to help double the number of Australians registered as organ and tissue donors.

Aged Care Minister and Indigenous Health Minister Ken Wyatt AM said the partnership was a significant opportunity to encourage millions of NRL fans and players to sign on to the Australian Organ Donor Register.

"I congratulate the NRL for tackling the challenge of trying to double the rate of organ donor registration," Minister Wyatt said.

"33 per cent of Australians are currently registered to give the gift of life but surveys reveal 67 per cent are prepared to donate, they just haven't got around to registering.

"NRL partnership activities will include promotions during Grand Final Week.

"The NRL will also engage fans on the importance of registration and family discussion of organ donation across its digital and social media platforms."

Minister for Sport, Greg Hunt, said NRL DonateLife Ambassadors, including former Parramatta Eels legend Nathan Hindmarsh, would play an important role.

"At present, around 1,400 Australians are waiting for the gift of a lifesaving transplant, that’s why partnerships with major organisations like the NRL are so important," said Minister Hunt.

"Registering your donation decision is vital because it leaves your family in no doubt of your decision to save lives as an organ and tissue donor."

Last year, a record 1,713 Australians received transplants, thanks to the generosity of 503 deceased and 267 living organ donors and their families.

Research shows nine in 10 families will agree to organ donation when their deceased loved one is a registered donor.

To encourage more living donors, the Turnbull Government committed

$4.1 million in this year’s Budget to a four-year extension of the Supporting Living Organ Donors Program.

The program reimburses living donors for time off work or out-of-pocket expenses, to help lift donation rates and reduce waiting lists.

A new online form at donatelife.gov.au makes registration easy, taking just a minute or two on a mobile phone, tablet or desktop computer.

Well FMD.
I'm not too sure how to react to this.
I know The Gremmo Foundation have been fighting for an Organ Donor Awareness round for ages as well through the Nathan Gremmo Jersey Day but had no idea this was also going on behind the scenes.
I had a reasonable amount of contact with Richard Gremmo over the past 2 years and we were hoping to get the NRL to go with them in the long run.
I guess our model may not have got enough money for the NRL coffers so they went to the Government. (Disclaimer - this is my personal opinion and in no way reflects the views or involvement of the owners or management of this forum)

Allowing myself to sit back for a few seconds and look at this objectively I guess we can take some satisfaction in knowing at least there will be an Organ Donor Awareness round - just hope it is EVERY year and not a vote catching one off.

Great to see you stick your big fat ugly head up now and then mate.
Game ain't over until WE SAY SO. Hehe.
As long as you're talking about the game of life, 'cause the game of NRL is over the moment the Bulldogs take the field. They're winning until they step foot on the field.

Mate I am not even going to have a go at you lot this year
WTF happened?
Your team should be well and truly in the mix with the roster you have.
BUT - you will probably have a blinder against us this week just to upset our slim chances of making top 4 for the first time since whenever. lol
As old Drop Bear used to say - I have been an Eels (insert Dogs here) supporter for over 50 years, I KNOW what pain is.

Checking in hows all doing ?
Not bad all things considered mate.

Still unemployed, but back from a great holiday and now taking up the challenge of finding a new home. Not looking forward to another $80 a week (min) in rent, but working on a budget now which will give us a clearer picture of things.

Pretty insane that $600pw gets you a hunk of shit that needs work, or a brand new house 10 minutes drive away.

I had another rejection on Tuesday which means more meds and yet another biopsy but I'm still punching on brother.

Got a new car which adds more debt to the massive debt I'm already in, but it's a good car so fuck it. Life is short.

Went to cover it in Bulldogs stickers and found that all my Bulldogs stickers are trashed. Much like the team. So I threw a few Wanderers stickers on the back.

Nice ... what did you get?

You know, this may sound bizzare but I do not own a credit card, and wifey and I do not have a single cent of debt!
