The Sydney Roosters have suffered a massive blow with star playmaker Luke Keary breaking his jaw at training today.

Keary took an accidental knock to the head while doing a drill with a big forward at contact training.

He will miss all the trials and could also miss several games of the new season.

The injury is a huge setback to the Roosters, who were eager to see Keary in action alongside big-name signing Cooper Cronk in the halves.

The break isn’t a big one - but bad enough to keep Keary out of the game for at least a month.

“It could have been a lot worse but he will still need to take his time coming back and not rush things,” a Roosters insider told WWOS.

No big deal for them really, kinda a blessing in disguise as the more time Lam has alongside Cronk in the trials the better off the Chooks will be.

No problems. They'll get Mitchell Pearce back. Why? Cause they can! Na seriously, they have 750k left in their cap.

Ryan Matterson straight in if Keary is injured.

Roosters depth is staggering.

Who gives a flying fuck what is going on at that soulless club of corporatised, latte sipping wank stains. I have no respect for the Roosters and don't believe they will be a threat this year. They will be finals cannon fodder for a club with more spirit (hopefully ours)

Fuck the Roosters. Unlucky for Keary though!
