when did you become a has been hack?

you're just a hack

Haha well, appreciate you clearing that up for me then!

Merson is an idiot. Always has been.

Van de Beek, to me anyway, steps away from your usual purchases and shows a thought out plan. I don't know anything about him, nor do I know if he'll be a success for you but it seems anything but a panic buy from your lot.

As frustrating as I know it must be for United fans not buying more players, if I were you I'd be happy you're looking for the right players.

Still think you're some way off truly challenging for the title, and that Ole isn't the right manager for you but who knows. Miracles happen. Just look at Istanbul and the semi with Barca ;)

Wow the loserpool fans are smacking of desperation.

Only an idiot would compare klopp to Sir Alex Ferguson. (To even suggest the first 5 years of each managers career given the different set of circumstances is massive stupidity)

Then to compare the financial might of United to liverpool ffs.

They needed to sell coutinho to fund their big money transfers, meanwhile United are looking to spend 120 million (on sancho) without a sugar daddy owner (more like leech owners who've sucked the club out of funds) and during covid where every club has been hit with a massive financial impact.

They're not going to get big money for salah or mane (should they decide to sell) as they're both getting on in age, by next seasons window both will be 29 (should the world return to normal and transfer market some normalcy) and too advanced in years for any club to buy either for big money.

Mane being the key one, he is the heartbeat of that attack and plain and simple liverpool don't have a ready made replacement for him.

And lastly quite frankly, the leagues been the weakest it has been the past 2 seasons for such a long time. It took a massive injury toll (throughout the season) on city for liverpool to finally win a premier league title.

Meanwhile as others have mentioned before

Pogba was missing for massive amounts of the season and his stats and form from 2018/2019 are more than enough evidence that united win more points had he not missed so many games

Bruno signed mid season and made an immediate impact and only had a small number of games with pogba. With Pogba and Bruno having their FIRST pre season for the upcoming season.

With the signing of dvb and being able to use matic on a rotational basis, and mctominay being able to provide a role, united are in fine stead for good rotation of the midfield for 20/21. No more will we see a midfield of lingaard, periera, and mata.

As others have stated rashford, martial and greenwood have stepped up in productivity and the addition of sancho will only further enhance that attack.

The fall in results towards the end of last season had something to do with playing 4 games in the space of 12 days after a long lay off. That type of schedule is usually encountered during the Christmas period when players have already had a quarter of a season played and therefore match fitness.

The Sevilla loss was a result of poor finishing, united created enough chances to win that game by 4 or 5 goals. Sometimes these things happen, the front line is still young, they'll learn.

And lastly, to make this completely clear, United are a big enough club financially that they can compete with sugar daddy owner clubs, they're not a selling club. And sancho is on his way.

Its your deluded stupid supporters who brought up Fergie and actually compared the greatest manager ever to temper tantrum, "the grass was too long" klopp. Lets just wait until he cant spend money because your club has none.

Completely agree mate.

Pogba literally missed 70% of the season. Bruno played his first game for us in FEBRUARY. Rashford was out for months with a broken back, Martial missed 2 months at the start of the season.

People seem to forget we were lining up with a midfield of Mctominay, Fred and Pereira behind an attack of Daniel James, Lingard and either Martial/Rashford depending on which one of them was injured for the first 15-20 games of the premier league. Even with all that we managed to finish 3rd and reach the semis in every comp.

When we had our whole team available to us after Bruno joined, we lost only 2 games out of 23. We had the most prolific front three and the best defence in Europe in that time too. And thats a large sample size.

With the addition of Van de Beek it really makes us more flexible on the pitch. If we verse a low block, then we can role out a midfield of Pogba, Bruno and Van de Beek. If we get an injury to either Bruno/Pogba then we don't have such a drop in quality like we did last year. It also gives us the ability to play the diamond formation in some games.

The club is actively chasing one of the best talents in the world in Sancho and have made it clear they'll go after him hard until the last day of the window.

Theres actually a genuine direction where the club is heading (that I can see).

In building the club Ole is doing a much better job than Moyes, lvg and mourinho.

At the time and still now I couldn't understand the transfers of

Schweinsteiger
Fellaini
Lukaku
Sanchez
Mkhitaryan

And they were the big money/name transfers at the time.

They were never the right players to bring in.

The club lacked a clear transfer direction for a long time until Ole stepped in

Agree on this. But getting in Sancho, who's fucking amazing btw, is it really what you need right now? At the price you'll have to pay?

You make it sound like you were the only team with injuries? Should I go through the injures Liverpool had for example? And some of the teams we put on the pitch? The amount of games we had to play in a short space of time?

I get what you're saying, I really do. United did OK with what you had, but is OK enough?
