My team vs Brentford:

Alisson

Robertson
VVD
Matip
TAA

Fab
Jones
Hendo

Mane
Salah
Minamino

Let Minamino do all the running and use him to press in the first half. In the second half bring on Firmino & Jota.

And I've come to the realization that either TAA or Tsimikas has to start every game. They are by far our best 2 at crossing the ball and create so much for us.

You’re not wrong , and there may be games we will have both on the field at the same time. Not only good crossers but good dead ball specialist , especially TAA.
Robbo is a better scrambler and defender, he looks sharper transitioning and closing opposing players down but the more games “Crosstas“ gets he will refine the defensive aspect of his game .
Crosstas is one of those players that works hard and gets better and better . 5 years he was nothing wow playing in a weak Greek league and was loaned out to some Dutch club, he’s just one of those players that works hard and gets better .

Funny how everyone said when he signed him that he was a nothing signing. I remember saying at the time that he would impress people and that he had a wicked cross.

Most had not seen him play I guess. He was signed as a back up but he’s definitely making a statement that perhaps he can be pushing for a starting spot.
I have followed his career as I watch some Greek league games and CL games. The guy was loaned out to some Dutch club by Olympiakos and came back a completely different player, a much better player
Cemented his spot as the starting left back from nowhere and the rest is history.
Some players take time transitioning to the fast paced higher quality Premier League. Kostas came from the Greek league which is pretty average apart from a couple of decent teams.

Yeah fair enough. Not trying to bignote myself more a case of I am glad he has been able to show what I knew of him and maybe others didn’t when he first signed for us. But definitely a very handy back-up to have!!

Credit to you this mate. He's done very well this year and it's truly great seeing this competition for spots. Long may it continue

Would love to see Taki prove himself now. There's a top player in there. Just hope he pushes on this year

5 years ago when I first saw him play if anyone had said to me that this guy would be playing for Liverpool one day I would have laughed at him.
Hes definetly come a long way and good luck to him , his hard work has paid off.
Let’s hope he gets even better .
