What's the halflife of the fallout from the nuclear bombs these have? @Bad Billy @Hacky McAxe

Or are they likely to go hydrogen or thermonuclear on each other?
It depends on how well the bomb was built. If a lot of U8 and Pu9 remains the half-life is going to be significant, in the order of 30000 years. But if it all fissions the progeny have drastically shorter half-lives, 300 odd years for the worst a couple of minutes for the best.

Yep.
But irradiated material from the blast site, that wasn’t part of the bomb is likely to have a very short half-life. In most cases, it’ll have decayed to stable, before it ever settles back to ground.
Most of the still active material found around the world after chernobyl is actually fission products from within the reactor.

Kind of.
They're carbon fibre poles. But they do look like fishing rods.
Glorified fishing rods. Lol

I still remember the boys use to call it fishing rods cos they used to “fish” the cells from the pool.

Yea, they still use that term, but more when they’re using ropes and hooks, to perform out of the ordinary tasks.

Noticed the other day a wandering jew in the front lawn.

Raced outside and told Todd Greenberg to get the fuck off my lawn.
