Yeah i did see that one, it was nasty. Dan has never beaten a team mate here in quali since he jumped into the main seat in 2014, not looking good from what i seen in q1 & q2. Anyway q3 time

Yeah that was because in qualifying Dan didn't have working DRS due to a software fault.

It was only in part of his first run in q3, it was corrected after that. Anyways sucks the safety cars helped lulu back into the race but at least he didn't win it. Dan got lucky in the end with max breaking down

Depends... if he's damaged the MGUK/PU or gearbox (again) he'll have to start from the pits or back of grid behind Ricciardo.
Both will have choice of tyres though so a good battle coming.

Hockenheim is a totally different beast... lots of overtaking places and it's much harder to defend on.
Red Bulls should be strong there as Mercs rely on outright straight line speed to get overtakes done. They don't have that luxury at Hockenheim.

Teammates Magnussen and Grosjean alongside each other going into the first corner both trying to get ahead and hold their positions.
If there's going to be carnage it'll be there, or someone overcooking it on the faster parts just before a corner (like at the end of the back sweeping straight coming into the hairpin). Reasonable run offs though so unless someone does something truly special or has a major failure, they should kep the cars off the fence.
Hamilton starting 14th as apparently they did not have to make any replacements to the car (so he could end up with a reliability problem in the race).
