okay this is the guide on how to get me your tactics
okay you probably know how to get me your formation and line up
just send me a visual representation of whatever formation you would like
so if you wanted to use this formation

MENTALITY
-10 ultra defensive
0 normal
+10 All out attack
the -10 +10 are the extremes, you need to find a good range for your team
CREATIVE FREEDOM
-10 No creative freedom
0 normal
+10 Much creative freedom
again these are the extremes, the less you give your players creative freedom means they must play to the structure that you set out
but obviously if you have a team full of brazilians, having some room for creative freedom is a good thing
PASSiNG STYLE
-10 short
0 normal
+10 long ball
what sort of passing game do you want?
a slow build up of slow passes?, or just boot it downfield for your forwards to chase?
TEMPO
-10 slow
+10 quick
the tempo you set will dictate how much pressure you put on the opposition defence, but if you set it to fast your players will tire
make sure you combined this setting with your passing game
WIDTH
-10 narrow
+10 wide
the width of your formation on the field
too narrow and your opposition can run around you, too wide and gaps appear up the middle
CLOSING DOWN
-10 rarely
+10 often
how much time will you allow the opposition time on the ball
not closing them down gives your opposition playmakers time on the ball, closing them down forces them to make a decision
but closing down also creates holes in your formation, plus too much closing down for large periods is hard work
TIME WASTING
-10 rarely
+10 often
how long to do you take to throw in? usually employed during the last parts of the game, rarely if you are behind, often if you are in front
DEFENSIVE LINE
-10 deep
+10 push up
a deep defensive line stays in the penalty box, it is very hard to get in behind them
a pushed up line hovers around the halfway line
TACKLING
only 3 options

how agressive do you want your team to tackle?

down the left wing

down both wings
down the middle
