It's crazy that the Raiders, Browns, Steelers, Saints etc won't even take him with a late 3rd. He's at worst the 3rd best QB in this draft. Obviously it's not about talent at his point.

Whoever gets him will get a bargain. Even if he's nothing more than a career backup, it's worth the gamble with a 4th rounder

I'm 100% convinced that the owners were told not to draft him in the first 3 rounds.

Shedeur apparently walked into interviews and made it obvious he believed teams should be shaped around his skills. Which is fine if he's generational - which he's far from. Short arm, reads having to roll out badly are just the skills problems. The bigger issue is he's never played for anyone other than his old man. HS and College. No one knows how he's gunna take another coach.

And the biggest issue of all, if he's not given reps, are you gunna have a Prime Time media circus hunting you down?

2026 has amore diverse QB class coming through. He's not worth the risks.

That all might be true but even then, in the mid to late 3rd he's worth the risk for QB needy teams and still a better option than Milroe, Slough etc

That's the thing. I don't care what any excuse anyone uses. SS is way better than Milroe & Slough.

So why are you paying someone who, if they don't get reps, through their dad may turn your franchise into a media circus? And lets be honest, Ward may get some reps in pre-season but unless he lights it up (or the titans go south again), he's not seeing many. So SS isn't likely to see reps not matter where he lands.

Slough etc. aren't gunna have their Dad smashing the GM, coaches and the whole franchise if they don't get reps.

TBH - if SS had a Daniels resume - I'd still be thinking long and hard over it. And he doesn't. So its an easy decision.

Ward is the starter from day 1. They might even trade Levis.

So he should go undrafted because his Dad is Prime despite the fact that Shadeur is the all time FBS leader in completion % and is clearly better than three guys picked ahead of him?

Ward got drafted number 1 overall for a reason, to start. Name me the last QB that got drafted number 1 overall & didn't start from day 1?

Mel Kiper had SS as his number 1 QB overall in this draft class.
 
Some GMs wont touch him because they know if he starts to show a little promise, and the results are not going their way, there will be a media storm trying to replace the head coach with PrimeTime.

Milroe and Slough are miles behind Sanders, absolutely crazy that he has fallen this far.

Almost all the QB needy teams have taken one at this point. I dont even see where he goes. Maybe the Rams look for a backup to Stafford?

Mahomes is 141st on that list so thats not a great metric. And yeah - why risk the biscuit?

SS could get your coach and GM sacked and blow up the locker room. He interviewed like a tool and has some serious flaws. Which GM is rolling with that risk?

Send him to the Cowboys. They seem ok with drafting players they don't need.

So 1 this century & it was for 2 games. Also Tyrod Taylor in 2018 was WAY better than Will Levis in 2025.
