Tatum and Giannis.. What a battle... Tatum keeps proving himself against Durant and Giannis etc that he belongs on that stage with them and is one of the best players in the league. Especially when you factor in what Tatum and Brown do defensively..

If Middleton had played this series it would've already been over.

Which starting lineup if everyone was fit would be better in 2022?

Internationals:

Nikola Jokic
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Andrew Wiggins
Jamal Murray
Luka Doncic

U.S.A:

Anthony Davis
Lebron James
Kevin Durant
Devin Booker
Stephen Curry
Team USA would win only because they would kill Luka on defense and KD would smoke Wiggins. But it would be a tight contest and you can never count out Giannis.

Luka has been good on defense against Phoenix. The Internationals would play better as a team and be more unselfish.

True. But if Robert Williams played the last 3 games, then Boston might have already won the series. The Bucks aren't getting 17 offensive rebounds in game 5 if Williams plays.

Middleton is more important to the Bucks than Williams to Boston. It would be like Boston losing Brown.

It's crazy that it's been 17 years since the 3-peat teams with Gorj..

My mate is a diehard Kings fan but he celebrated Perth missing the finals after making it for 35 years straight just as hard. Haha. He hates them.. That was a crazy record they had though. Doesn't get talked about enough in the mainstream media...
Perth are the greatest sporting team in Australia. Incredible record.

Of course he's more important and a far better player. But Williams would be helping the Celtics a lot if healthy.

The whole 'Luka is bad on defence' thing is becoming less relevant every year. He's never gonna be a super good defender but he's basically neutral at this point.

Gotta disagree with this mate, the Suns were picking him off time and time again in their first two wins in this series. But its purely from a lack of effort, because he certainly has the body and is athletic enough to keep up with players. Richard Jefferson made a really good point in commentary the other day, all Luka needs to do is put in enough work to let his team mates to get to him and protect him on that end.

Its very rare that a team can win a title with their best player being a below average defender. Even Curry was able to transform himself into being a competent defender when GSW became champions.

Yeah he was definitely targeted in those two games. But that's only two games. He's been better since. I've legit watched 95% of Mavs games in the past three seasons and he has improved. We had a top ten defensive rating this season and held teams to the send least point per game in the comp. I honestly don't think that can happen if your player with the biggest minutes is as bad a defender as Luka is made out to be.

I totally agree that he has plenty of improvement left in him and that most of this comes down to effort. He reads the game well (10 steals in the past three games) and is quicker than people realise but he can get lazy and bleed easy buckets when he switches off. Compared to even just a year ago though, his effort is way better.

These are two massive wins from the Celtics to come back and win the series. They shot lights out from 3..

Now they have to go on with it and beat Miami as this will be their best chance at a title. Need to give the Heat payback for the conference finals in the bubble a few years ago..

lol booker scared as shit pretending he wants the ball, he only has 2pts because the referee has some sympathy and called a foul when doncic was backing off him avoiding contact

This is one of the all time beatdowns in a game 7 by the Mavs. CP3, Booker and Ayton have been invisible.
