@Nasheed your List;

1. Bellamy (The dream, but probs will never happen..)
2. Bennett (with Ennis or similar to handover in 2-3 years could work)
3. Holbrook (another rookie, no)
4. Kearney (you are a cunning stunt Nasheed)
5. Daley (Nah)
6. Dean Pay (with outside help Ennis/Kimorley or Griffon, possibly)
7. Jason Taylor (Faaaaark no...unless we wont more Mad Monday bullshit)
8. Kristian Woolf ( who is she, NRL rookie, no.)

From that list
1. Bellamy
2. Bennett (/w an assistant coach, e.g. Cronk or Ennis)
3. Holbrook
4. Pay

The rest aren't worth a mention.
Even if we could get Holbrook it'd be a sideways swap imo.

I'd add Flanagan at 2. and Fitzgibbon at 3.

I don't get all the love for Fitzgibbon? This is more of a like for like swap with Pay surely? At least Holbrook has been a head coach in the ESL which to me is the level above assistant.

Flanagan is a hard no for me.

mod course an ESL coach (a top line one at That) is more than an assistant.

Dymock is back in the picture, willing to make the tough calls when needed, more of a football brain than Pay... possibly with Bennett in a position to over see things and attract talent

Solid Source ?

I don’t think that’s a bad option makes you wonder why they never did something similar to Pay at the beginning but I think the club needs to move on from Pay.

Going off simple logic Holdbrook is far more rubbish than Pay.
Better roster than us, sitting lower than us, flogged bu a team we just flogged. No, no and no.
I’m starting to think the only way out of this horrendous mess is Bellamy. Bennett is past it.
Griffin and Toovey pretty much the best of a bad bunch but will not have nowhere the impact as Bellamy.

I see him as a similar signing to O'Brien for the Knights.

He is the only logical option. He is the brains behind the Roosters.
However, I still prefer Dean Pay be given a chance with a more competitive team.

Same. For me tho Fitzgibbon is probably the only exception I'd make unless a top coach is available. If a top coach isn't available I'm all for extending Pay one year. Pay has excelled expectations with a noncompetitive roster so there is no reason to sideways swap coaches. This is even more obvious when the players are playing for the coach. Next year expectations will be higher (assuming we recruit well) and if he doesn't meet expectations (he hasn't done this yet) he'll get the Nathan Brown treatment. Ben Ikin nailed it on FOX before Raiders Manly kick off.
