JMK has double the natural ability as a hooker than Brandon "Australia Post" Smith has, yet we have people here who want us to throw 900k at Smith and are angry we re-signed JMK on chump change. Take Smith away from Bellamy and he'd regress faster than a St George player looking for an escape route from Paul Vaughan's house when the cops rock up.

As I said before it’s all about attitude.
Doesn’t matter what team you play for if you’re not playing with your best ability and put in 110% you won’t achieve much.

Look at Napa the dumb **** he put in for one game and looked like a beast and we won that game but then he went back to being lazy.

Doesn’t matter what team you play for if you’re not playing with your best ability and put in 110% you won’t achieve much.

Nah, that's too simplistic.....sure, attitude counts for a lot.....but maintaining motivation and attitude is clearly more difficult when you're stuck in a losing team environment. Put Smith in this team and watch his efforts go downhill at a rate of knots....and all the effort in the world won't help a young player excel in a skill based position. I haven't seen anything from JMK to suggest he's not an effort player anyway.

Yeah being in a losing environment doesn’t help but when the game is on the line that extra effort is what can win you games.
