Des Hasbeen is all about stats.

You know its all going backwards or downhill, however you want to put it, when an ageeing retiree is your top try-scorer with a below par 12 trys for the season

Woeful Recruitment is to blame for everything. No spark, no half back, no hooker. Means shit game plan.

Nasheed here.

I have something to say,
More unfounded hysteria!

Blokes like pupmichelle only see the stat alone and not the bigger picture.

Sam Perrett is a winger so of course he will be one of two prime candidates to be top tryscorer. It would only ever be Rona or him. Their tryscoring abilities is only the cherry on top to whatever backline move is being played, and how effective It is.

Secondly 2005 was a great year for us, so that alone shows you the relevance of the stat. It could mean that we score up the middle more.

The only stat that matters is the yearly total of attack. Points per game.

We weren't fantastic, but we were very solid in terms of points being scored this year.

Don't let blind hatred of Des cloud your vision to every piece of info.

Next we be having guys here blame des for their coffee spilling on their shirt on the way to work.

People are dreaming if they think Des is the answer or best option. I said it before and I'll say it
again.

Stop juggling Des's balls in your mouth and drink that coffee. You need the hit

Thankyou

Here's the only stat that matters for mine. Since '04 we have enjoyed only 3 good seasons of footy as far as i'm concerned. 2006, 2009 and 2012. Everything else has been below par including 2014.

at the end of the day,
we scored 508 points this year, that puts us 9th.

Nothing too crash hot, but canterbury are a defensive team and we were ranked 5TH in defence this year!

In a top 4 year for the dogs,
youd expect them to be 2/3 in defence and 6/7th in attack.

It is not an alarming stat.

who is then?
Would like to see someone with fresh ideas and lets the players play whats in front of them. Cowboys rooster all had new coaches and it helped. Also someone who is better a recruitment or player pulling power. Kevin Walters, Ivan Cleary, Dean Pay, Holbrook just to start with.

Believe it or not, Des has alot of pulling power in regards to new recruits.

The old Manly squad adored playing under him, its why we signed T-Rex and why Foran is always linked to us.

The CBFC is who veto's the Foran signature. Des has him.

why would we waste 1.2 million to recruit a rookie or Ivan Cleary ?
