Kennar didn't play today.
Stanley went ok and kicked 2 from 3 . One from touch and another from touch hit the upright.
Didn't kick in second half. Woolford kicked and didn't hit them that well.
Unfortunately Abbey offers less than Hoppa at the moment and we are comparing Abbey playing against reserve graders.
Too soon for Stanley to play NRL for at least a couple of weeks but surely a better option than a winger who can only manage 14 mts in a game.

2017 is a write-off, time to start blooding Abbey. Lee offers spark but needs to work on his defence but 1. hopoate, 3. lee, 17. abbey could work. Frawley is not first-grade standard and Mbye obviously wont be dropped for his price. Graham's injury will leave him gone in first 10 minutes if he plays next week. Lichaa, Kasiano, Eastwood need to go to reserves.

I think you are probably right.
But I also think there is no real talent banging on the door either.

However today there was real signs of total lack of commitment.
Hoppa ran the most today and on some of Penrith's attacking kicks he was the only one running to get to the ball.
Their 2nd last try for example, I think Mybe also ran to cover but all the other players just stood there.

Dogging it like that should automatically mean a stint in the reserves.

Abbey, Garvey and Frawley has been ordinary in Reggies - not just for this year but in previous years -like Holland and Lichaa they are not first grade. Kasiano Eastwood were good once - we have no depth and theres not much in under 20s coming through either.

I watched the reggies play today and the only ones even close to moving up are Stanley, Cleeland, Garlick and Woolford. All the rest not even close, certainly not Abbey. He couldn't even run down a player even though he had 10m less to run.

Like the look of Cleeland

Bit of attacking spark which means Des will never pick him

Des bases his assessments and poor game plans on ridiculous stats too. I was there watching the game and Abbey was solid.

The players aren't the whole problem, the shit game plan is the main problem. It does not challenge other teams and can be read like a book of nursery rhymes.
