Loving how there is a new man of the match every week and we are not dependant on any one player, the balance is awesome in the team

The interesting thing is there’s still so much potential improvement.

For considerable periods games this year we have struggled to make metres and relied on Burton’s boot to get us out of trouble. But defence and effort get the job done.

When yardage and attack gets there’s they’ll be unstoppable.

And this is why we are seeing the results.. we are playing as a team a for one another - for the jersey and for the coach , we seemed to finally formed team comradeship. Combos and work well together. We have leaders, a coach that treats all as equals. and they are all on the same page and buying into it. It’s what the Panthers do, and the storm have done for many many years. We are on the up an up due to those changes. And most of all the boys seem happy.

Well we did rely on buttons boot to help us for a good 20min period last night.

Perfectly said. We are actually playing as a team and for one another, haven’t had this feeling since 2014

I been pondering that myself.
What is my concern is that it's possible we could be doing the opposite.
We may well be playing above ourselves.
We could be over achieving.

I'm not convinced yet if we have more gears or if we are redlining already.

Will be interesting.

100% team effort sticks out a mile. We play for 80 minutes regardless of the result. More if necessary.

All our players are punching above their weight the only thing i think we need is another big forward hopefully there's one goodn coming through . OUR improvement is unreal I don't think even GUS would of thought it was going to happen as fast as it has better things to come.

It’s been a repeat get out of gaol free card. We’d be up shit creek without it.

Our lack of size and yardage up the middle gets compensated by Burton’s boot. Without his boot we wouldn’t be in our current position.

We play well against structure. My fear is against the unstructured teams.

Out of the teams going for top 8 teams.

The “best” teams in a strange way I would prefer to play over some of the lesser team's

I think with our style we can go head to head with Melbourne, Penrith, Sharks, Dragons

I think our style can be upset by Rooster’s, Manly, Dolphins & Cowboys.

The fact we play three of those teams in the remaining four games. I think will show us where we are at.

A bit off topic but don't they give $1000 and interview the man of the match anymore? Sick of seeing the same blokes interviewed.

Absolutely

one week fox has a blinder. Next week kiraz has a blinder. One week critta, the next xerri

That right there is why I'm neither expecting to go to deep into the finals or ruling out a GF berth. Burton's boot and the yardage of the outside backs has been our insurance policy if the forwards don't get the roll on. And we've not looked too troubled in recent weeks as our attack hax found another gear.

But you know that there's a few teams that will lift in the finals. Whether we've got that extra level in us is yet to be seen. I'm just enjoying the ride for now and hoping that we've got our best 17 available for the finals. We mightn't go too far, but it won't be because we give up.

Makes the oppositions job harder, as who do they go into a match targeting?

Our Coach believes there's more to come from the team, so yes, I believe we've at least another gear, if not more!

Added to this is that the rest of the squad down to our juniors know what's expected of them to get into that team. Ciro has created that environment for team success so they all know what is needed to be apart of that success.
Gus knew who and what he was getting when he signed Ciro and the board knew we needed Gus. We are in good hands at the moment.
