Let’s support the players first and foremost... yes they have contracts but this is about us the fans backing them for being targeted, I am worried a protest could turn ugly and implicate the club further

We need to voice this out, us fans need to stand up together and get behind the players and the club. The kennelers need to organise something!

I just spoke to the club, it’s a 250k fine with a conference held at 4pm. I think we should set up a go fund me page to at least pay for the players fines... thoughts everyone??
Fuckwits at NRL will probably try to find a way to apply it to our cap.

Funds should maybe go to Elliotts charities.

Jeeze this has turned into the biggest joke. Soon the nrl will want players drinking soft drinks only and be in bed by 8:30, at least for the bulldogs players anyway. I just can’t believe one minute of nudity and spewing outside a pub draws this type of punishment.

Please share your view!
Lachlan Lewis was not even there, yet the telecrap were quoted as saying Lewis was legless by 7pm and had to be escorted out and an Uber called... Lewis has a successful baby clothing online business, what if that got effected by this negative media bashing??? what would the telecrap say about that...
The club put up curtains around the courtyard area and hired private security so public couldn’t access... the photographer allegedly paid his way to an area not for the public and found a gap between the curtains that took the photos... that’s as bad as 2012 when castle gave us a private house and barred the media by 200m, they hired a helicopter and took shots from above for a story...

Trent Merrin in last year final series launch stripped and took a goal kick, in front of corporate sponsors... everyone laughed and was shared multiple times online, where was the punishment

Absolute joke and I can’t believe the club accepted the fine

Photo looked like it was taken from outside of the hotel.

Better be sugar free, or your club is in trouble again.
Lol you say it in jest but they would fine us for having a Coke instead of a Pepsi.

Not correct.

I have been told (from someone that knows of the photographer in question - and he has a reputation for being a real arsehole paparazzi shooter) that in the past this photographer has rented out scissor lifts to get money shots.

Think of how much those photos are worth to a paper.

But is it legal to use the scissor lift? Did he get council approval to use it on a public strip? Or did he get approval from the owners ( if it was used in their property) and if not without approval it would be against the law to operate machinery in a private location?

No doubt the venue have a case otherwise
