Chullora fire: Massive blaze rips through recycling centre

FIREFIGHTERS are battling a massive blaze at a recycling centre in Chullora.
Fire crews were called to the Muir Rd factory about 9.20am this morning.
A Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said it was the eighth alarm for the fire, and said there was six fire trucks on the scene, with 10 more expected.
The roof of the centre has collapsed under the intense heat.

Massive plumes of smoke could be seen across the city, including as far away as the CBD.
Fire and Rescue NSW said all people were accounted for.
Streets in the area were blocked off to traffic as firefighters continued to put more trucks into the blaze.
