Haha just ran through a quick draft today before I posted the link. I'm sure it'll change a lot between now and kick off.
Yeh i did a quick side, but not sure if enough of my rookies will play to have 4 reserves yet. Spent most of my cash on the starting 13. Luckily they let you do unlimited changes before round 1, im sure to need them.

I’ll post it shortly and if you ever want me to post something just ask me. I get access with the subscriptions I give to nursing homes for my charity work. Most of that paper is trash, except SuperCoach haha
Thanks mate.

Here you go mate :grinning:

Blayke Brailey $201,000 (HOK) – Sharks

Quick verdict: Brailey junior looms as the cheapie of the year, with the Sharks giving every indication that the youngster will have first crack at filling the 60 minutes per game that his brother (now at the Knights) played for the Sharks in 2019. Will be an easy money maker and a player you could use as third or fourth reserve early on.

Full analysis: The departure of big brother Jayden (Knights) opens the door for Blayke Brailey to make the job of starting hooker at the Sharks his own. Where Jayden was a defensive workhorse, Brayden brings more attack to the role and he possesses a deft kicking game. A proven eighty-minute hooker, Brailey played the full game in all seven NSW Cup matches last year and also played 80 minutes for the Sharks in round 14 last year. The Sharks have recruited veteran Cameron King to serve as backup to Brailey in 2020, but I’d still expect the youngster to play 60 minutes. Having averaged just 22PPG last year Brailey is priced cheaply to start 2020 and looks sure to be one of the most popular cheapies to start the year.

Billy Smith, Blayke Brailey and Jarome Luai will be popular cheapies for SuperCoaches
Jarome Luai $257,400 (HFB|5/8) – Panthers

Quick verdict: Set to be one of the most popular player in KFC SuperCoach 2020, Luai will get first crack at replacing James Maloney in the halves for the Panthers. A livewire runner with the ball, Luai looms as a safe money-maker through the opening eight-ten weeks of the season who could then be traded up to a bye-round covering keeper.

Full analysis: Maloney’s exit leaves a huge hole at the Panthers and Jarome Luai has been nominated by Penrith coach Ivan Cleary as the man to get first shot at making the No. 6 jersey his own. Luai played 13 games for the Panthers in 2019 but the majority were as a bench utility with limited minutes. In the four games he started at five-eighth last year, Luai averaged 46.75 and he is priced at a $180K discount to that average. Has handy dual-position eligibility making him a quality back-up option at both positions in the halves.

Billy Smith $290,400 (CTW) – Roosters

Quick verdict: Anointed as the man who will replace Latrell Mitchell on the left edge for the Roosters, Billy Smith is an expensive ‘cheapie’, but still very much a ‘buy’.

Full analysis: Smith played two games for the Roosters in 2019 scoring a try in each game hence his inflated price to start 2020, but a look at his 2019 NSW Cup form suggests the attacking stats are not an outlier. Smith played seven games in the Canterbury Cup last year scoring 10 tries and averaging over 155 metres and better than five tackle busts per game. Smith is a favourite of fullback James Tedesco, and with a full off-season to work on his combination with the superstar plenty of attacking stats are on the horizon.

Greg Leleisiuao $171,900 (CTW) – Titans

Quick verdict: Despite destroying opposition defences in the NSW Cup in 2019, Leleisiuao could not break into Parramatta’s NRL side last season. The Gold Coast junior is now back in Queensland and battling it out with the likes of Anthony Don and Jonus Pearson for a starting spot on an edge for the Titans. A devastating attacker (with noted defensive weaknesses), Leleisiuao has a very SuperCoach friendly game that would make him a must have should he be named to start in round one.

Full analysis: Written up as a potential cheapie last year, Leleisiuao then got stuck behind 2019 breakout candidate Maika Sivo at the Eels. Rather than mope about his lack of NRL opportunity, the winger went on a tear in the NSW Cup. In 26 games he put up incredible stats including 196 tackle breaks (the most in the competition and close to double the player who came second in the stat), 4,513 run metres – of which 1535 were post-contact metres (the most of any player in both stats), 12 tries, 15 linebreaks and 43 offloads (equal most). Now back on the Gold Coast, Leleisiuao is a ‘buy’ should he be named in the starting team for round one.

Greg Leleisiuao has been released from the Eels to return to the Titans where his chances of playing in the NRL are greatly enhanced.
Matt Burton $211,900 (HFB|5/8) – Panthers

While Luai is widely tipped to fill Maloney’s shoes, he doesn’t have a clear run to the job. Dubbo-born playmaker Matt Burton is snapping at the Samoan international’s heels after making his debut last year in Round 20. He produced a try assist and forced drop out for 38 points and with discounts applied for limited number of game, he should start just above bottom dollar. Burton has also recently re-signed with the club to join the team’s top 30 squad, and will be eligible for selection in round one.

More details here by Matt Logue

Toby Sexton $171,500 (5/8|HFB) – Titans

He’s still just 18 years-old and embarking on his first pre-season with the Titans but young half Sexton has already been identified as a pre-season standout by new Gold Coast coach Justin Holbrook. “A lot of (the players) in the first few weeks have impressed us as coaches, that’s for sure,” Holbrook said. “I’ve been really impressed with Toby, he’s a good young kid. Him and Tanah (Boyd) have got a good work ethic for young boys.“ A star for the Australian Schoolboys in their triumph over the Junior Kiwis in September and player of the match in the National Under 18 Championship match against the Illawarra Steelers in May last year, Sexton can clearly handle big games. Holbrook has attempted to hose down any expectations that we will see Sexton in first grade in 2020 but he’s a slot in your watchlist.

Edene Gebbie $171,900 (FLB/CTW) – South Sydney

The PNG international was snapped up by the Rabbitohs midway through 2019 and one look at his stats playing for Wynnum-Manly Seagulls in the QCup makes it clear why. In 22 games last year (all at fullback) Gebbie scored 19 tries, breaking the line 23 times and busting an incredible 170 tackles – breaking 15 in one game twice!

Edene Gebbie scores in the Intrust Super Cup rugby game between Wynnum Manly Seagulls and Burleigh Bears.
Jaxson Paulo $171,900 (CTW) – South Sydney

Just 20-years-old and already 192cm tall and weighing 101 kilograms, Paulo is an outside back development project signed to join the Rabbitohs midway through 2019. Paulo played 11 games in Jersey Flegg in 2019 scoring five tries, busting 49 tackles (season high of 11 in one game) and averaging 136 metres per game (of which over 50 metres per game came post contact). Even more impressive is Paulo’s record in the Canterbury Cup where he scored six tries in six games, with seven linebreaks, 22 tackle busts (again a season high of 11 in a single game) averaging 117 metres per game. The Rabbitohs backline will prove a tough nut to crack, but Paulo is a tough nut, so maybe he’ll do it.

Haumole Olakau’ata $171,900 (2RF) – Sea Eagles

Standing 196 centimetres and weighing in at 113kg, Haumole Olakau’atu is a monster of an edge second rower who looks sure to see some time in the NRL in 2020. In 16 Canterbury Cup appearances last season (nine in which he played the full 80 minutes), Olakau’ata scored four tries, busted 68 tackles, threw eight offloads and averaged over 100 metres per game with a season high of 165 against Penrith in round 12.

The big fella has some guile too as he displayed in round 10 against the Jets when he put on a chip and chase play on the fifth tackle before putting in a grubber kick for a try.

Connelly Lemuelu $171,900 (CTW/FLB) – Cowboys

A genuinely talented young footballer, Lemuelu can play anywhere in the backline from halfback to fullback and everywhere in-between. Last year Lemuelu played 21 games for the Bulldogs in the Canterbury Cup averaging 127 metres per game and scoring eight tries, assisting four more with 11 linebreaks, 44 tackle busts and a very healthy 31 offloads. Signed by the Cowboys until 2021, Lemuelu is a member of the Cowboys senior squad.

Brandon Wakeham $277,600 (5/8) – Bulldogs

The injury to Kieran Foran opens an opportunity at the Bulldogs and while Jack Cogger would seem to have first run at the vacant spot in the halves, young Fijian international, and Canterbury junior, Wakeham must also be considered. Wakeham, who spent the early part of 2019 rehabbing a syndesmosis injury, played three games in the NRL for the Bulldogs last year (one game off the bench and then two full 80-minute games at five-eighth) in which he scored one try, assisted another and broke five tackles while making 30 (and missing eight). Will not be a true cheapie, but if he starts in round one he’ll still make good money.

BULLDOGS ROOKIE WANTS STARTING NRL HALVES SPOT IN 2020

Brandon Wakeham is already a star for Fiji but is yet to make a big mark on the NRL.
Brayden Musgrove $171,900 (CTW) – Sea Eagles

A big lump of lad, Musgrove has been recruited to the Sea Eagles from the Knights. Long limbed and fast, Musgrove played 10 games in NSW Cup last year recording 12 offloads and 12 tackle breaks. Check out his highlight reel from 2017.

Billy Walters $201,000 (HFB|HOK) – Tigers

The son of Queensland Origin coach Kevin Walters joined the Tigers from the Storm late in 2019 after making his long-awaited NRL debut in 2019. Walters will be 26 when the season starts so is hardly the future for the Wests Tigers, more a backup plan should anything happen to Benji Marshall, Luke Brooks or Josh Reynolds. Utility backs without job security don’t scream ‘buy’ in SuperCoach but there are positions up for grabs at the Tigers and should Walters shine in the pre-season he may be one for your watchlist.

Billy Walters has left the Storm for the Tigers.
Tanah Boyd $201,000 (HFB) – Titans

The Australian Schoolboys halfback was poached from the Broncos in June by Mal Meninga and made his NRL debut in round 24 off the bench before being handed his first start in the top flight in the final round of the season. The Allan Langer lookalike is hoped to lead the next generation of Gold Coast talent after representing Queensland in the Under-18s and Under-20s and has earned praise from incoming coach Justin Holbrook.

Toby Rudolf $171,900 (FRF) – Sharks

Signed by the Sharks from the QRL Cup in 2018, the big prop tore his ACL the very next day. Forced to spend much of 2019 in rehab, Rudolf then came out and dominated for Newtown over the close of the season. In the final six games of the regular season, Rudolf averaged just shy of 50 MPG, busting 25 tackles, throwing six offloads and averaging 30 tackles per game (season high of 47) and 133 running metres per game (season high 164). Cronulla run deep in the FRF with the likes of Fifita, Prior, Woods and Braden-Uele in front of Rudolf but that long-awaited NRL debut should come in 2020.

Emry Pere $171,900 (FRF) – Cowboys

A hulking front rower with plenty of raps on him, Pere happens to have the misfortune of being at a club chock full of representative hulking front rowers. Pere played 22 games for the Cutters in QCup in 2019 scoring four tries, busting 64 tackles, throwing 16 offloads and averaging just a touch under 100 metres per game with the ball.

Lindsay Collins/Poasa Faamausili $201,000 (FRF) – Roosters

The departure of Zane Tetevano frees up an average of 37 MPG in the front row rotation at the Roosters and one of the two men above look to have first dibs on an increased role. Collins played 13 games in 2019, averaging 19 MPG and 20 PPG at a PPM of 1.04. Faamausili played 12 games averaging 19 MPG and 19 PPG at a PPM of 1.02. Whichever of the two wins the dual could be a sneaky cheapie — however, be aware that bench FRF are a slow-money burn.

Opportunity knocks for Lindsay Collins in 2019. Picture: Jonathan Ng
Josh Curran $216,900 (2RF) – Warriors

The former Rooster racked up an unusual honour of making two debuts in the one season in 2019, handed his NRL debut for the Roosters off the bench in round six and then after being signed by the Warriors mid-season he made his club debut in round 20. Across the three games, Curran averaged 26 MPG and 23 PPG at a PPM of 0.91. A NSW representative at under 16, under-18 and under-20 levels, Curran played 18 games in Canterbury Cup in 2019 (including five 80-minute efforts) and will push hard to play more minutes for the Warriors in 2020.

Max Bailey $171,900 (FRF/2RF) – Roosters

Not currently a member of the senior squad, an NRL debut is nevertheless on the cards for the prop/lock. Bailey played 24 games in the Canterbury Cup in 2019, scoring four tries, throwing 12 offloads, averaging 30 tackles per game and 130 metres per game (finishing with the fifth most metres of any player in the competition). His good form saw him rewarded with selection in the 2019 Canterbury Cup NSW Team of the Year. Breaking into the Roosters’ starting 17 is a big ask so maybe his future lies elsewhere — one to watch.

Egan Butcher $171,900 (2RF) – Roosters

Unlike Bailey, Butcher is a member of the senior squad and the former five-eighth turned second rower has big raps on him. Still just 19 years-of-age, Butcher played six games for the Bears in the Canterbury Cup in 2019. One of those games was a brief cameo off the bench, excluding that game in five outings he scored three tries, set up another, broke the line four times, busted 13 tackles and averaged 33 tackles per game. An NRL debut looks likely in 2019, but with the Roosters boasting one of the most stacked packs in the competition big minutes would be a stretch.

Xavier Coates $203,500 (CTW) – Broncos

While only playing 3 games for the Broncos last season, Coates did look promising despite only managing scores of 31 (with a try), 29 and 13. The issue is how Seibold can find a place for Coates and Darius Boyd in the same backline. With Jamayne Isaako expected to play fullback, the two wing positions look set to be filled by Corey Oates and Darius Boyd. However, Coates can’t be left waiting in the wings for too much longer and an injury or a poor start from Boyd could see Coates snare a starting spot.

RISING STARS: 13 NRL ROOKIES SET TO MAKE THEIR MARK IN 2020

Xavier Coates could be a break out star in 2020.
Josh Schuster $171,900 (5/8) – Sea Eagles

A superstar in the making with David Fifita levels of hype, the edge backrower or five-eighth is certainly one to watch in 2020. While on a development contract and unable to play before June 30th, his skill, size and speed have everyone wondering just how long coach Des Hasler will wait before giving him a run in the NRL.

Ky Rodwell $171,900 (FRF) – South Sydney

The loss of Sam Burgess, John Sutton and George Burgess has left the Rabbitohs with a huge hole in their forward back and Ky Rodwell looms as a potential beneficiary. A middle forward from the country town of Bombala, he has a massive motor and an outstanding attitude. He was even voted players’ player for the season despite managing only eight games because of injury.

Jason Saab $271,100 (CTW) – Dragons

Another youngster that made his debut in 2019, Saab scored 125 points in 3 games (with 3 tries) for an average of 41.7. At 199cm tall, Saab is said to be the tallest player to ever don the Red V. While the Dragons’ backline looks mostly settled, Saab looks to be up against Tristan Sailor for a starting spot in 2020, with Zac Lomax set to play at fullback.

The giant Dragons winger Jason Saab is a huge threat in the air. Picture: Brett Costello
Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow $171,900 (FLB) – Cowboys

Rated as Queensland’s most exciting young talents, this outside back is reportedly ticking all the boxes this pre-season and could be in for a big 2020. Earning man-of-the match in the Australian schoolboys recent win over the junior Kiwis, Tabuai-Fidow has the ability to make amazing plays look easy. While he wont play in his preferred position with Valentine Holmes as the Cowboys No. 1, he can cover centre or wing and could earn a call up this season.

EXCITING TEENAGER TURNING HEADS AT COWBOYS PRE-SEASON TRAINING

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has been labelled one of Queensland’s most exciting young players.
Jake Simpkin $171,900 (HOK) – Tigers

With the retirement of Robbie Farah, the ACL injury to Jacob Liddle and a potential cloud over Josh Reynolds future at the club, Jake Simpkin could be a left-field option at some point this season. However, Simpkin is currently still on a development contract, so it is just a wait and see for now.

Gehamat Shibasaki $286,400 (CTW) – Knights

Forced out of the Broncos after the signing of halfback Brodie Croft, Shibasaki was snapped up by Newcastle and is now competing for a starting centre spot with the likes of Hymel Hunt, Tautau Moga and Bradman Best. While only averaging 28 points in his 12 games in 2019, don't be fooled as 3 of these were off the bench and yielded poor scores. If you take these games out, his average jumps up to a much more respectable 37.

Full story by Michael Carayannis.

Borderline cheapie Gehamat Shibasaki is a chance to start for the Newcastle. Pic Peter Wallis
Cody Ramsey (FLB) – Dragons

The young man they call ‘Jesus’ and ‘Bjorn Borg’ could be an option to replace out-of-favour Dragons fullback Matt Dufty. At just 21-years-old, Cody Ramsey has impressed during this pre-season and looks set to earn a full-time NRL deal with the club. Currently not available in the SuperCoach team picker and therefore unpriced, Ramsey is definitely one to keep an eye on.

It’s going to make things tough. I think I’ll stick to Tedesco and aim to bring Tommy Turbo in too if his body holds up!

Crazy. He might not have much $ upside and a high break even. But hard to leave out. Imo he's the best player in the game atm. Ponga 150k cheaper is a tempting alternative If I end up needing the 150k
