I watched the knights storm game. Did they change the rules or
Something? Ponga jumped 30’points in a few mins. In that time he has to of been credited a try assist for a try assist that to my understanding for the last 7 years should of went to that Dennis’s centre who passed to sio?

He has got 109 and in all honesty I expect nothing more then 70 out of his game. He had a try with no line break and 1 line break
And a bunch of runs and few tackle breaks. That’s it? How the fuck ?

I watched it happen so unless rules changed he is due to drop 30+! Otherwise my first trade next week is him in for Tedesco or tommy t lol cause someone who does the scores has wood over ponga

That's definitely a try assist to Ponga.

He drew 2 players, and for the centre it was just catch and pass. The chance was created by his inside work (and that step) which tied up two defenders, passed to a centre who had an overlap, which he utilised.

That overlap would have never happened had Ponga not done what he did.

He drew the winger - not his opposite centre because Ponga drew both the inside-centre marker and the centre.

Look at it from this perspective. In a defensive line, it is man on man, once you take into account the player that played the ball is generally out of the equation. So in this instance - Ponga not only drew his man, but also another defender, the opposite centre. In doing so, the winger jammed in on Dennis, creating the overlap on the outside.

It's Ponga's try assist all day.

Everyone plays round 16. The game in the states is this weekend so all will be back by Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
