State Of Origin 2017 - Are drastic changes needed ?

We need to make some big changes now imo. The news of Thurstons retirement at the conclusion of the next world cup and the fact that smith and Cronk will probably be to old or not around anymore, now is the chance to take a step towards our era. Yes we could lose next year and the one after, but we need to set a young group up asap.

Basically, the NSW team is the equivalent of, if Tony Williams cloned himself and created an entire team. (excluding the coach. Not even Williams can be as rubbish and pathetic as Daley)

The current halves are fine. Maloney played pretty well and Adam Reynolds is the best kicker we got, and the only two better kickers are Cronk and Thurston.
Jack bird should be in the team, he is a very strong and athletic player as we all saw last night and two weeks ago when he shrugged off J moz and co.

Need to blood more dynamic young players next year. we really need only a couple of players over age 28. The selectors need to change their way of thinking, they always think players are 'too raw', 'not ready (mentally)' for origin, but this is not a good way of thinking when we have lost 10/11. It is time to take risks and identify the future stars for the blues. They need to select people who show pride, who want to play for the blues. Players like Klemmer, Josh Jackson, Frizell (although his body language is not 100%, he very clearly gives 100%). Need to drop flops like Ferguson, Jmoz, Bmoz

I liken it to Anasta, where he was hyped so much, so early that people feel the need to see something in him that isn't really there.
To me he plays soft, bitch ball. He can't get tough and if he didn't have Gould pumping up his tyres he'd be nothing.
