I'm guessing you've laid tiles upside down. You will then mesh it and make it into a mosaic sheet? Seriously bro, this will look awesome in a well lit pool as a feature. Can't wait to see the finished product.

hahaha same here, but it was punt from 11 with beers, fire going at 3 and then crying at 4-30 after we were smashed and i lost on the punt lol

The first progress pic in the original post took 3 hours from scratch.

Second progress pic was 1hr 40min.

When you're using small tiles and get to the intricate curved areas, it can take a long ass time. Especially when they keep breaking on you

Yep! Tiles are laid upside down. It will be glued onto a board once finished and the paper at the front peeled off. Then grouted and finally framed.

My old man is a tiler by trade and has done a handful of mosaic art over the years, thought it was time i finally learnt myself.

Can't wait to see it finished either!

Yes it's back to front as it gets tiled face down, will be turned over once it's complete.
