From ESPN for some of the top NBA players salaries.. I suppose they just used their imagination for these figures and publish false information on a major website risking litigation for the fun of it... They were even creative enough to come up with very specific amounts..

So you are OK with;
Your salary being published in the media?
The opposition players sledging you every game over how much or how little you get paid?
Everyone at your work knowing how much you get paid?
Your parents knowing how much you get paid?
The in laws knowing how much you get paid?
Your no hoper brother in law who only talks to you to borrow money for drugs knowing how much you get paid?
Your wife knowing how much you get paid?
Your ex-wives knowing how much you get paid?
Your girlfriend knowing how much you get paid?
Your mistress knowing how much you get paid?
Your entire family knowing how much you get paid?
Your sponging trailer trash relatives knowing how much you get paid?
Your next door neighbours knowing how much you get paid?
The guys in the ski masks waiting outside your house knowing how much you get paid?
........

There are plenty of reasons why salaries shouldn't be public knowledge and the sporting authorities world wide know the reasons why and those that do it know that they should never have let that happen.

If they dont like it they can go get another job that doesn't disclose the money.

Agree :grinning:

"Most" of the wage and salary workers in Australia are employed under Agreements and tiered amounts based on qualifications and years of service. It's not hard to "generally" find out what teachers/head masters, wardsmen/nurses/enrolled nurses/registrars earn as a base rate and that applies to most industries. We don't know the exact amounts because it's variable and that would be the case with footy players and tpa's.

Mandated Salary Cap in NRL should at least have these disclosures as a bear minimum to offer some sort of transparency....right now there's nothing but Buzz Rothfield types to create conjecture on the amounts under the auspices of the NRL.

My favourite part was "It's not like I haven't warned you a million times not to exaggerate" right before he says some shit that's completely incorrect. The arrogance of the Rain Man..

Him talking about the NBA reminds me of this from the Big Lebowski..

Ah yes. The Big Lebowski.

One of my favourite movies - ever.

Wonderful in so many ways, including its political incorrectness.

They are staggering numbers, the lowest paid player on that list earns more than double an nrl clubs salary cap for 30 players

It's okay for every other league around the world to publish players salaries
That's ESPN guessing, it's not the NBA publishing it, which is what you claimed.

Wait a minute
This ain't zero tackle
Yes it is just like Zero Tackle, it's guessing based on what rumours they gather from agents who tell them numbers to suite their agendas.
