If you have an opinion either way I guess you will get called out on it from time to time. You'll need to defend it.

Both should get a tokenary fine ($1000) for doing it on the playing surface after the game tbh. None of us care about their petty little feud. Only the journos frothing over it!
 
Must've been a slow news week so they thought they'd spice things up a bit as in these social media days any news is good news as at least the public are talking about your sport/code.

Honestly Spenny can certainly hold a grudge and is a hothead, he lost his shit a few years back with J W-H but you can give him a pass for that as J W-H was a thug and a protected species at the Rorters.

That said what J T said at the time should NOT have been said, politics and sport do NOT mix well and to voice his opinion of a suspension of 12 weeks for a racial slur was utterly ridiculous and still is. Yes, that's not on these days but for crying out loud there has been far worse said on the field than what Spenny said and at worst he should've received a 4 week ban as they had to do something as it wouldn't have gone down well if they didn't.

8 weeks was a joke when you consider Mam will be back in the NRL soon for repeated off field offences with his last being driving with drugs in his system and causing a head on crash with the 3 other passengers hit all hospitalized. 9 weeks and $850 for that is a disgrace also but a racial slur is worth only 1 week less. What a fucken joke that is!
 
I wanted Spencer here at one point now I just see him as a massive distraction and liability, kinda prefer Sitili for impact of the bench so far

i agree, my mate daughter is married to him, he is a massive unit, im not saying that to his face,
But he needs to grow up and pick his time to challenge people
 
Situation is like this mostly because the way the world is. People like Mam basically get a free pass to commit all sorts of crimes and will only ever get a slap on the wrist

They play the victim too much and I can understand Spencer’s anger because tbh I hate it as well. Basically no one made a huge deal of the Mam situation because no one wanted to.

The day has come when calling someone a monkey is now worse than drug driving, causing an accident and being a suspended driver. Utterly ridiculous. Leniu should’ve have gotten a slap on the wrist for his slur and Mam should’ve been deregistered and banned from the NRL

Really can't blame SL for thinking the comparison to the "crime" and the "punishments" was totally out of whack.

Especially as Mam is a repeat offender with multiple driving charges \_(ツ)_/¯

JT didn't have to go to Robbo that's piss weak....And so what Spence called out JT being a hypocrite.

Spence was out of order with Mam. But shit what man did was way worse and JT not a peep.
