I just came across this show the other day and it's totally awesome!!!
I have just finished watching the first season and can not wait for the 2nd one.
If you liked movies like Gladiator and 300,u should enjoy watching this show.it contains alot of graphic and bloody violence, high levels of language and nudity and very steamy sex scenes that leaves nothing to the imagination.So if ur offended by such i would advise against watching it but if ur not then check it out for sure.Even tho it's a tv show it comes across more like a movie,a big budget one at that with all the special effects.
The series focuses on the historical figure of Spartacus, a Thracian gladiator who from 73 to 71 BC led a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic.It stars many Australian and NZ actors,including Lucy Lawless from Xena: Warrior Princess.
