An alleged nude video chat scandal has hit the NRL on the eve of the second week of the finals series.

According to an exclusive story in The Daily Telegraph, South Sydney is investigating accusations “high profile” players left a 23-year-old woman feeling “violated and disgusted” when a Facebook video chat turned lewd.

The report claims two stars have been accused of exposing their private parts to the woman during a “funny” video chat that turned ugly.

The woman has reportedly claimed to have possession of screenshots taken from the chat to support her claims of player misbehaviour.

The Daily Telegraph has not published the screenshots and has not identified the two players identified in the video chat.

The video chat is reported to have involved several star players, but only two have been accused of acting inappropriately.

One player is accused of exposing his genitals, while a second player is accused of flashing his bottom.

Rabbitohs coach Anthony Seibold’s preparation to play the Dragons has been thrown into disarray. There is no suggestion he has any connection to the woman’s allegations.

The incident is reported to have occurred while the Rabbitohs were in New Zealand following their 30-10 win over the Warriors on May 26.

She has claimed her phone records can also support her claim that one player also repeatedly called her mobile phone following the incident.

She says she came into contact with the players after initially exchanging comments on Instagram.

The woman has said she felt appalled by the actions of players during the chat in May.

She is also dissatisfied by the official response from South Sydney when she first notified the club of her complaints.

The report claims the woman contacted South Sydney just days after the video conversation, lodging an email that was received by Rabbitohs football department manager Brock Schafer on June 1.

His response reportedly informed the woman that her complaint would be taken “seriously”.

She never heard back from the football club. The Rabbitohs have announced their intent to respond to the woman on Friday.

“I find it disgusting how these boys think they can get away with this crap,” the woman told The Daily Telegraph.

South Sydney is still investigating why the woman’s follow-up complaints to the club went unanswered, however, a South Sydney spokesman has said the club has concluded the woman’s emails were identified as spam mail by the club’s mail server — a conclusion supported by an independent contractor’s investigation of the club’s email system.

South Sydney is scheduled to hold a press conference at 8.30am (AEST) on Friday morning at their Redfern training base just one day ahead of their blockbuster semi-final showdown with St George Illawarra at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

Oh man if this is true the NRL better give them just as much heat as they have us. How bout the Telegraph though, we won't post the pictures or say who it is but they were happy enough to splash Elliot and Fine all over the front and back pages naked.

If this does come out fully and the Telegraph doesn't cover the papers front to back about it then it completely will show the bias on us Dogs.

I'll be following this closely after Mad Monday.

Todd will say we realise the bulldogs fine was too harsh but they can still pay $250k but the souths players are very remorseful and will undergo counseling so all good

Stuff the Daily Telegraph. They refuse to publish the screenshots or reveal names, but if it was the Bulldogs, the screenshots and name will be everywhere in the media.

This is a big test of his leadership. Ours was innocent fun. We cop 250K fine. This was a grubby act. Boys will be boys yes. Should be at least $500K. And our fine was handed out within 4 days. Watch this drag out and get swept under the carpet.

I find it interesting that the incident occurred in May, but the story breaks in the finals. The timing seems like a deliberate attempt to sabotage a team in the finals facing a must win game...

I guess because she had reported it twice to the club but Souths have done nothing about it so it's finally made it's way out into the public now.

To the Souths fans that were giving me shit about Mad Monday, eat a dick now you fuckers!!

How does the headline in the Fairfax media last week "Souths show Bulldogs how it's done" look now.

Watch the MSM bury this one real quick, and the NRL let the Bunnies off without penalty. There won't be the conga line of offended journos writing their stories about poor behaviour by the club, or how they degrade women. Oh. No. Fitz won't be upset because the Bunnies are a nice team. One rule for the Bulldogs, another for their favourite teams.

And forgiven. Remember how the media tore us apart over the unproved allegations in Coffs Harbour, but excused Matty Johns and the Sharks for an actual rape in NZ. Double standards from the MSM.

So the dogs copped up to 800k in losses when a photographer unknowingly took and published photos from a private party that was a group of friends mucking around, and the game is in disrepute.

Rabbits players knowingly engage in lewd acts, exposing themselves to a member of public, and yet swept under the carpet and no media beat up yet.

Like others have said anything short of 250k in fines means it was a agenda against the club then actually bringing the game into disrepute.
