The biggest problem with Shane is that you’re locking yourself into having Kyle as halfback. Maybe his old man knows how to get the best out of him but if he doesn’t we are in a bigger mess than we are now. I’d rather avoid the baggage.

Not if you clear those waters from the beginning... At the end of the day everyone's job is on the line including his own.

He was bog average when he played last year but never got another chance might aswell do it under his dad

Can’t be any worse than right now.. we ain’t going anywhere with Barrett and Shane will bring stability to the side

It is a tough one... maybe instill it in the contract based on results? Anyways fcuk Flannagan surely there is another coach out there...

If Tbaz got sacked the next coach would be absolutely crucial to get right and Flanagan senior has way too much baggage for the club to be rolling the dice on him.

Theres Kyle, the fact he’s been out of head coaching for a while now and that’s not even mentioning the needles at Cronulla.
