Little doubt hes the best 1/2 we have. I also think he should be captain as JJ just doesnt cut it as a captain.

I love the heart Foz has. But you can see he is struggling fitness wise. I think that Ponga try when ran a round Foz tells the story of where we are at the moment. Newcastle has a young fit strong Marque player and we have Foran who has heart and can still think like a good 1/2 but his body is nearly done.

Thank you for the effort?

He is getting paid around $22k a week and you are thanking his effort? lol
Would you rather he take 22k a week and not put any effort in like some of the duds in our team.
Anyone here would take the deal offered to him by those Muppets Hasler and dib.
Some people seem to blame foran for the money he is getting which is just plain stupid

It’s very obvious on the field he’s a class above all our other players. If he stays fit for the whole year we probably won’t get the spoon IMO.

No one wouldve tackled ponga with that much space for him to move.

No. One.

Ponga has one of the best 1 on 1 steps the game has probably ever seen.

I totally agree. My statement wasn't about Foran missing the tackle. As you said no one was likely to stop Ponga. It was more about where we stand at the moment
with regards to Marque players. Foran is ours and is a good player But not in the class of Ponga and all top sides have a high level Marque player.

I was never a big fan of Foz. Just the bit about his injuries and relying on him to play was a neg for me.
But when he is there you cannot knock his toughness. He gives 100% everytime. Looking forward to him getting some form as he really is a smart footballer. As i said in a previous thread if we can get a positive out of the knights game is that Foz got through the game with no problem.

He is a million dollar man starting to play like one by the sounds of it (missed the knights game). No thanks from me as he is doing what he is paid to do. Give me his effort he put up against the tigpies each week.

Kieran has had some heavy criticism on here, and I acknowledge the injuries he’s had and the wage he’s on are hard to stomach. However the clubs lack of due diligence and awful management of the salary cap at the time isn’t his fault. No one deserves criticism for getting the best deal they possibly can for themselves and family.

So let’s give him some credit for the toughness, professionalism, excellent attitude and positivity he’s displayed this year.

Playing 50 mins with an ankle injury most specialists claim one shouldn’t be able to walk on, and then being so dedicated to his rehab he returns 4 weeks before scheduled, to be arguably our best on ground is worthy of praise.

His quality, experience and leadership for us, both on and off the field gives me some hope for our team, in what is clearly a very difficult time for players, officials and fans.

So from a frustrated supporter, clinging onto any positives, I give Foz a big thumbs up and hope other doggies fans get behind him and the struggling team. He can provide the inspiration and creativity we are lacking and play a significant role in our fortunes turning.
Gunning for the half century of likes lol
