a big problem for cronulla is brisbane might require them to be penalised to make the finals, nrl and channel 9 definitely want brisbane there instead of controversial and low ratings cronulla

Thought I heard on ABC this morning that NRL fined the Sharks for salary cap breaches early this year. Maybe this is a separate issue?
