Send Galvin to NSW cup.

Woods is unproven that he'll make it in first grade.
It isnt a fact that Galvin and Burton will be our halves pairing next year.
Contracts broken all the time, maybe the club buys a HB for 2026.
Long time till round 1 next year.
Im pretty sure CC and Gus are aware of our halves problem.
Other than those facts its opinions and guessing.

For what it’s worth, I had a chat with Burto’s old man earlier this year and he indicated Burto would be going over the states to give NFL a try when his contract was up in 2027…

As the punter right? Can't see any other position that he could play in the NFL.

Why?
Why cant it be Burton.

If Woods is earmarked to be our future HB, wouldn't it make better sense to allow Galvin to make the 5/8th spot his own and simply shift Burton to HB?

I mean lets face it, all he's good at is kicking....with the occasional good run.

May as well just be team organiser and let Galvin play off the cuff without the pressure of running the team.
We all know that hinnsite is a wonderfull thing but, IMHO Ciro erred badly by putting LG straight in to our NRL side.
If LG started in our NSW cup team, and earned his spot in the NRL team, you can be sure that it would have been better for him and our team.
BTW it's still time to do it, and I hope and pray, that Ciro dose'nt coach or play players to try to please the arseholes in the media.

Wasn't there talk about Woods possibly playing fullback in the future?

Kick the ball 3-4 time a game and get paid $1M to do it.
The AFL guys kick it as high and pin point it in the final 10 yards so they get distance plus time in air. Burton puts it up and hopes it lands somewhere good. Might make a 100th ranked college team and get an education .

My opinion Galvin needs to go to reserves for the whole year. His passing is too full on. Look at the bullet passes he gave to Burton for example. How was Burton going to catch those when he had defenders on him already & a few bad service passes to Kiks for e.g. He created a lot of drop balls against the Broncos. Sexton and Burton have been good at building pressure chocking out the teams with our fitness all year over Galvin going flat stick on every play creating errors and drop balls. I believe Galvin needs a whole pre season to learn our style of play and get comfortable with team combos. In reserves for the year will help prepare himself learn the Dogs DNA and style of play along wth a full pre season also. He's a great signing but not ready for this year.

Why are we messing around with a winning system? He has disrupted our season since he's arrived. This can't be allowed continue, he's not ready to be a full time first grader.
You make it sound like we were undefeated and winning each game by 20.

I’ll leave Galvin’s development up to the coaching staff at Belmore. None of us could do better otherwise we’d be there doing the job. They’ll play him where he needs to play. Easy to think of the next dozen games. You don’t buy a 19 year old to win the comp in 6 months.

Mate I love your post and kinda agree - for any other kid. My only disagreement is that this kid looks like he learns quickly and already learned how to steer another team around the park last year. I’d give him a few more games. I still think 14 might be his spot depending on injuries but also think CC won’t be scared to drop if needed. Team spots now becoming competitive. He might be good 19, especially if you have Mahoney,Hayward, Mann playing well and Salmon back from injury. So be it. I’ll let CC make the call
