What year was that? What has he been doing since? How much is he going to cost? What about his other off field issues? A big money winger is hardly what we need right now

It would be a huge gamble considering no one knows how he'll adjust to the NRL after a few seasons away from the game and when you consider how much he'd be after.

Factor in him going walkabouts previously and his previous domestic violence allegations and things seem even riskier.

He was a great, game changing winger and any club would be better off with him. But 700k or whatever he'd be after for a winger considering the above is a huge gamble.

Especially when rep stars like Cam Murray are on 550k or a young winger in the mould of Semi like Sivo would have cost Parra near the minimum from Penrith.

I agree man but it's more the risk of who knows if he'll dominate like before he left and it's a lot of money for a winger. Even one as great as he was. Basically any club would be paying a premium based on form from two years ago.

Playing French Rugby is hardly as physically demanding week in week out as the intensity of the NRL so who knows what shape he comes back in and how hungry he is at this point of his career..
