I had no idea either. He’s one of the most exciting prospects in the NRL. He was chased by 15/16 NRL teams before signing with Souths in 2017/18. 115kg centre/winger. I think he had a bad attitude towards training and put on a bit of weight so Souths released him. Not sure if this is correct though, I’m just reading between the lines from the few articles I read about him.
He went ok yesterday but the other centre was more impressive.
Lots of good performances in both SGBall and Flegg. Don’t know names but blonde centre , five eight, number 15 , 8 and 10 . The one who stood out was the hooker off bench he’s a gun in SGBall.
Flegg starting side was very impressive. Ryan Gray and Zac Hetherington super impressive.

The bench dummy half was Danny Ghantous. The sgball team were incredibly gutsy.
I only watched the first two lots of 20 minutes of flegg -the first squad were a class above Manly

After all Cleal is their recruitment officer lol
Cleal was there yesterday - for part of the day Mark Hughes was about three rows away, watching the same games, no doubt seeing different things.

Highlights from H Matthews: https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2019/02/11/highlights--une-harold-matthews-round-1/

Highlights from SG Ball: https://www.bulldogs.com.au/news/2019/02/11/round-1-sg-ball-highlights-v-newcastle-knights/
Tryscorers Kurt Picken, Khaled Rajab, Mosese Vuki, Jackson Topine, Issam Merhi and Jazzaiah Schaafhausen. #8 in SG Balll is a massive unit!

Flegg trial highlights: https://www.bulldogs.com.au/news/2019/02/11/jersey-flegg-trial-highlights-v-manly-sea-eagles/
Both tries (the only tries) scored by Manly were from intercepts.
#5 (Blake Clayton) looks to have serious pace.
Every try by the Dogs had some razzle dazzle to it.

ISP trial highlights: https://www.bulldogs.com.au/news/2019/02/11/isp-trial-highlights-v-blacktown/
2 tries to Connelly Lemuelu, and one mad try assist to put Kuresa over.

Who was number 14 with the head gear in Jersey Flegg? Billy Mozer? Can play.

Also Connelly Lemuelu with the bright red boots in centre in ISP looks to go pretty good..

Pretty sure it’s Ryan Gray he’s the most promising hooker we have had in years. Hopefully he keeps rising up the ranks.

Yeah think your right, Kids got some talent out of dummy half... Would like to see how this kid develops.

He is probably the most promising player in the lower grades full stop. He’s very similar to Damien Cook with his running from dummy half. He will be a superstar if he brings that in NRL but that’s a massive if.

I'm excited to see what Connelly Lemuelu can do here. Had big wraps coming through at the Tigers.

Is a Keebra park product. Goal kicking outside back with good size and pace from what I've seen.

From the highlights I like the hooker no.14 in flegg, man he can play, the guy is a star with raw talent. And no.4 in ISP Lemuelu. These two stood out in the highlights reel

He is decent enough in defence and leads the line speed. He has a real weird body shape for hooker he is really lanky/

Not sure how the top 30 system works. If one of the isp players or even from u20 do well, they still cannot be promoted to top 30 this year, right? Unless the club release one of the current top 30?
So why did we register the full top 30 list so early?

Yeah that's what threw me off because he looks more like a ball playing lock than a hooker and wearing 14 was weird. Looks like a real gooden..
