Yeah I would rather Pereira to be honest. His defence is not too great either but still better than Sloan. One thing is for sure though, we definitely need some speed in the backs whilst maintaining our defensive strength
 
Stonestreet is Cronulla through and through.

I don't think his heart would be in it to play for another club.

Righto I know it's only a 1 year deal sharks extended him on. But how the actual fuck have they been able to keep everyone...who have they lost over the last 2-3 years fucking no one.

Ive been saying it for ages, they are fucking cheating the cap. If you have to spend 95% how does everyone here get mass upgrades and still fit AFB, dodgy as.

Yeah this is what makes the Brailey contract so interesting. AFB and Hynes on $1mil each, a few others around that 700k mark. Doubt their wingers and Kennedy would be on anything less than 500k?
A big deal for him has to raise eyebrows.

Yea he would be a good pick up. Really wish we went for someone fast and athletic like Herbie, Coates etc. not sure what’s available tho. Our wingers were absolutely embarrassed again last night

I guess we are at the stage of our rebuild where we aren’t throwing huge money at players. With critta, Burton, Galvin. I think we have a large sump of cash tied up there. Then we have Thompson heading over. I think that’s why we released reed too. Yes he was frustrating with his late game errors and penalties. But I’m sure it’s his contract. We will need to upgrade a few players in the next year or 2. Already secured Kiraz and Crichton is next. Then woods will get a pay bump when he is top 30. And you’d think Todd, underhill, latu will also be getting upgraded once elevated to first 17 players eventually.

The marquee outside backs are probably not on the cards. Yes this kid might have been cheap. But I doubt we go for a fox type of signing etc. maybe a fullback……. But yeh. I think with the 15s and 17s success we might have a procession line in a few years and have a Penrith system where you lose one and you replace them with someone as good.

But I would be surprised if we slay another marquee signing next year. Like we have the last 5 years.
