Oddly enough, Huawei already have a foldable screen that doesn't break.

Give it time.
You can’t repeatedly stress any material, in that way, without causing it to fail prematurely.

Yep. Huawei do it a different way. They basically use a number of pivot points in the glass. That way the screen isn't bending.

There still must be some electrical connections that pass through the hinge. They’ll fail over time.

Of course it'll fail eventually like any folding circuit. It just comes down to the quality of the material to dictate how many folds it's guaranteed for.

The Samsung screens use an organic mesh which theoretically should be able to heal itself, but it's not at an effective stage for that.

Apparently the phone has a protective screen cover that helps remove stress off the screen. The protective cover needs to stay on but Samsung forgot to tell people that, so they all started peeling the cover off.

Here we are talking about foldable screens on portable devices and rumour has it Nikola Tesla had invented a fully functional electric car back in the early 1930's!

That's a hoax. The story says that Nikola Tesla's nephew, Peter, said that Tesla showed him an electric car he invented.

But there's two problems with the story. There's no evidence that the car existed and Tesla didn't have a nephew named Peter.

Some senile old Serb making up stories yeah?

Either way I'm positive Tesla would not approve if us talking about portable devices with bending screens.

He'd probably say, "why didn't I think of that?"

Then he'd start talking about the government reading his thoughts and pink elephants and stuff. At the end he was mad as a hatter.
