When sea eagles or sharks have to play at Homebush or SFS/SCG they struggle to get 20 k at finals matches. NRL def not giving us a leg up but feels a bit like they have loosened their grip around our neck or let the kink out of the hose. It’s like they forget or didn’t realize how popular a high flying bulldogs could be and would actually bring out the crowds. Around the super league time till early 2000s we were the biggest Sydney club and second most supported club behind the broncss in terms of crowds, revenue and merchandise sales. Could easily get back there. Particularly with this team that’s all heart.
