Interesting hearing Trent Robinson last week taking the blame for chooks poor attack. Said it was on him to get them firing that that was his job.
And Robbo failed 2 weeks running. But when Ryles & King coached them they seemed way better.

OK so the thing is coaches can lose the mojo in the coach....dunno if that's with the Berries but I wonder if in their skull somewhere is shit this bloke has like a record of 10% wins.
Just guessing because looking at your boys last night there is a shit ton of potential....(gonna leave the ref out) some great carries by PJnr, Flanno is getting better, JAC is the goods and Burton needs better direction.

As a visitor here, I'm not about bagging out the Dogs but by end of May or Mid June if the win rate isn't picking up.....well the coach should be for the chop man. The thing is the club needs to have spoke to somebody else and have them lined up if they make the call to toss TB.

BTW great to see Parra smack the Riff last night.....all's possible.

No you are correct but Baz and his staff are responsible for picking the team of duds week after week. It well passed time that there should be a shake up. If there isnt in round 11 the pitchforks will be well and truly be out and used I think.
Gus has alluded to there being changes coming in Round 11 with some of the young guys getting chances. It's a joke the NRL has this rule so we have to keep playing struggling and underperforming players and can't replace them with younger and hungrier players til round 11.

I agree but let’s be real here… the other 15 clubs are exactly the same and somehow get there reserve grade top 30 players to perform. No excuses the coach and coaching staff and several players need a clean out. If they are serious about a rebuild then start from the top and work your way down.

Harsh on Barrett imo.. at moment too often players making errors..

The defence is largely good which is a reflection on Barrett..

The spine hasnt clicked .. our 9 is average and halfback is yet to find his attacking mojo..
BABAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HE CHOOSES THEM AND COACHES THEM. LOL

Robinson also said in the presser its not the first time his team struggled with their attack and referenced previous times from the past.
The thing is he acknowledges therefor can do something about it as he has done so before.

Your right about our team having potential. We have better cattle than last year.
Realistic expectation is to see incremental improvement each week building as the year rolls on.

Ive seen you post several times. I know your not here to bag.

I really liked him, I wanted it to work out for him. Knows his footy(well it seems like he does), is passionate about our club, BUT sorry, he’ll never be a good FG coach. We are wasting more time with him there. Needs to get shown the door NOW!
A big part of his trouble Dog is his choice of traing staff and assistant coaches.

Most stupid rule. Have players but cant use them...who does that benefit? NRL WHAT A JOKE....

I see Trent as the Bennett type of player manager coach leave the actual coaching up to someone else. But we don’t have that under him. So probs best to go in another direction, Flanagan would be ok, but is that the best we can do?

Let’s get real. The only 2 wins this year were due to the bunker over-turning what would have been last minute game winning tries to the other side. And both were iffy decisions, not clear cut. So 2 lucky wins otherwise the dogs would be so for out of ladder points that we could offer to take the spoon now and take the rest of the season off. And the second win was against a weakened Rorters side after Guru Gus took over as coach. Barrett looks totally lost in the dressing room and the coaches box. He was not recruited by Gus. He can’t be allowed to continue.

You know what’s more embarrassing Elliot gets the last laugh and also lost to a depleted raiders team
CHN and Elliott had a chest beating hug at the end, as though Canterbury were to blame for their indiscretions in letting the club down. Grubs.

But our team wimped out and handed the win to them so I guess they felt good about themselves again.

No if or Buts, the coach has to go. We should be pushing the top 8 by now and improving each week but this is not the case. Trent cannot keep demoralising the players and the Club with the performance week after week. Bit the bullet time. See ya Trent.

It's really hard to blame Barrett, he has only had an open cheque book of his own signings, his own hand picked staff, 400+ days in charge.

Very hard to blame the guy who is responsible for these performances, massive lol some of our fans are dead set delusional.
