Just on power shortages..The Us announcement on Wednesday that they will be sending Ukraine generators ..as well as sending over anti-drone machine guns.

I think the argument could be made that they're digging in to consolidate the land they have as this 'land corridor' that's been spoken about on here would represent triumph for the Russian army.

That being said, is it wide enough to maintain control of?

Already debunked as a push to far in the propaganda stakes.

The more likely scenario is Russia are using denuked KH-55 missiles (always good to put out of service military weapons to good use) to engage Ukrainian air defence and provide intel to their location for attack by Su-35s who are using KH-31 air to surface missiles. Per oryx - Russia have lost 5 of over 100 in action so plenty of aerial superiority. And the Su 35 is the Russian 'good stuff'.

KH55's are old shit - 1970's stuff. Replaced by KH 101s, 102s, and 555's.

And of course a SU 35 was claimed to have been shot down by a NASAM system.
