It's obvious no land army of Russia's is going to take over any countries by force.

All they have is airborne. Missiles, nukes, drones, planes. If you nullify that Russia is toothless. So the world, in particular Europe, should invest heavily in setting up a line of impenetrable air defence across Ukraine. It would protect most of Europe from Russia. And of course that includes NATO countries which brings other countries into needing to invest in it.
Must be said that Russia is learning tho from their humiliating earlier defeats.

Retreating from Kherson which is massive for Ukraine but they've created a really good defensive line on the left of the river with multiple lines.

I'd imagine they'll have targeted artillery sights on the right side of the river when ukriane potentially comes in ... If they do that is.

Also got Belarus to bluff Ukraine by fainting attack to the north. It's better from Russia.

Will be interesting seeing what happens next tactically. Does Ukraine attack in an entirely different region? How will they clear Russia off that left side?

What's clear is that Ukraine has the initiative and power in the field with Russia simply trying to stop the advance.

They key element is the will of those fighting. More and more mobilised men are refusing to fight. Statistically some divisions of mobilised men have lost more than 80% of their soldiers which is unbelievable.

Not sure it matters what Russia does, they just don't have enough men anymore? Well, not enough fighting men.

Hence why the rockets and drone but more and more Ukraine has adapted and is now shooting a higher percentage of these rockets/drones down before they hit civilian targets.

It's going to be an interesting week I think, especially around the Kherson region.

Recent Russian offensives have returned back to the WW1 approach of just front on assault.

The result?

Catastrophic losses for their divisions with over 90% killed. Groups of mobilised soldiers with 3 spades to dig trenches, very few weapons, no commanders.

Throwing meat into the grinder.

The worst part?

Despite all of these shocking losses they're using the exact same tactics today.

Artillery has targetted on one spot, and the Russians just keep bringing their troops through the same spot again and again and again. Madness.

Just don't get their thinking at all as it's stirring up a heap of problems with the families of the fallen, plus families of other mobilised soldiers

To perhaps highlight this. These divisions have written to high command pleading for the frontal attacks to stop, getting their families to plead for it to stop. Many are refusing to participate

What's the mornings and nights dipping to about 3 degrees now? Under equipped under, prepared, low moral chuck in a winter in a few weeks should be interesting

Russian man fearing mobilisation goes to fortune-teller

Fortune-teller Tarot says his conscription will be 'seriously delayed'

Happy man returns home

Receives an immediate mobilisation notice

Returns to fortune teller, beats him up

Gets arrested, mobilisation delayed

Ukraine won this war before it even started.

All that's happening now is a drawn out loss sentencing 1000s of soldiers and citizens to unnecessary death because of an ego maniac and his fucked up crew.

An example:

"It's being reported by other media in Voronezh that of 570 forcibly mobilised to the battalion, just 29 people survived, of whom 12 were wounded."

That's seriously fucked up and the people of Russia will eventually wake up to this shit

Putin is a complete disaster.

He should of had this war wrapped up by now. US can pump endless amounts of weapons money into Ukraine he knew it and got stuck in a quagmire. Should have blitzed them from the start but then again he is not a real dictator he just talks and cannot back it up.

He definitely tried to blitz it.

His and his army's complete arrogance saw them massively misjudge Ukraine's capabilities, and they were outplayed from day one.

Just a rabble of a people and can't wait to witness their downfall

Big week for Ukraine. Everything points towards something big happening in Kherson, let's hope that they destroy those Russians there!
WOW. Russia has publically called a retreat from Kherson — the biggest city and only regional capital captured and occupied after the Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine.

While I don't believe it in full tbh, it's still absolutely massive and another huge fail for Putin.

What is interesting is that they've made it so public. It's going to affect the morale of the troops on both side, and also potentially give Ukraine the advantage as the Russians retreat.

Although, you'd hope from the Russia side that there's some masterplan behind it all?

Ukraine's military said in an update that Russian forces, "disguised in civilian clothes, occupy the premises of civilians and strengthen positions inside for conducting street battles".
Maybe trying to suck them in ,wouldn't be suprised Russia set a few of its own for cannon fodder gets them fighting in streets ,then just bomb the fuck out of the city, don't think Ukraine will be falling for any tricks
