I would give him the 14 Jersey come round 11 or just start him at 9 hahahaha
I watched a fair thew Reggie’s games he constantly aims up. I spoke to a couple riff coaches when they played is. They also had raps on him. Not sure how he would go with the next step up to nrl. But in my opinion he’s earnt his chance to see. As he can also fill in at lock five eight.

Alamoti with some terrible attempts in defence, really looks uncomfortable on the left edge and is a looooong way away from NRL
Don't know what you were watching. His defence was great.

When I explained my post about how gus is overrated, people said cook had potential and was a good signing :sob::sob:
When we signed Cook I said it was unlikely he was better than JMK (3rd string Rabbit hooker) but at this point I just want to try anyone else as well... at least JMK getting less minutes, e.g. 50.

It wasn't, missed numerous tackles with lazy arm grabs.
At least two very poor attempts at tackle I noticed, grabbing arms. I thought some of his carries were strong.

His carries are good, basically setup Casey's try when he took out 3 players with his run and left them on the floor. Did bomb a try by not passing to Casey and I do think he looks really uncomfortable on the left.

Because so many of our fans just remember the latest performance in first grade and just assume the bloke in reserves will do better. It's why so many want to see constant droppings and recycling of players
So true.

You write he depends on his strength a lot with arm grabs hopefully they help him work on technique and position play to reduce arm grabs. If he gets into position correct these days his strength will work as three on tackle most plays to help the line set

Kiraz looked a lot more dominant in first grade than he has in the two games I've seen him in reserves. Will be interesting to see how he goes when he next gets an opportunity
He'll be playing on the right hand side in round 11

Am I the only one that wants Alamoti at right centre and Kiraz on right wing to build a long term combo to transition into first grade?
They can't be worse than the cuurent right hand side.

Yep Alamoti prefers the right side and Kiraz has a good right foot step.

This is a combination we should be building for sure.

I thought Josh Stuckey was pretty good. AT one point he had 4 quality offloads in as many runs. Scored a try after powering on to a short ball from close range. He scored this exact try many times in his highlights package on youtube. I think he will see first grade at some point this season. Also sporting a new mohawk hairstyle which makes him look a lot meaner.

Retchford is raw as shit and carrying a few kegs but he has a powerful run. On one instance i noticed a St George player looking a bit dodgy about taking him head on. Think he might be pretty tough.

Topine, Stuckey and Makatoa were the standout forwards for mine.
Alamoti and Kiraz both made big metres too.
I think Stuckey looks good too

Thought BBO was outstanding at halfback too. Much better option than Flanagan for mine, and weirdly the only one that hasn't been given a shot with Burton this year.
