The best thing about that win was the fact we played both tough and entertaining!
Burns was amazing! It was like CC told him ‘just play like Kiraz!’ We we’re better with Reynolds and Olapu on the right side. Avirello showed his got pace to burn.
Hopefully this takes a little pressure off Burton as teams won’t just double team him and he is opposing players one on one rather then 2-3 defenders sweating on him

Flanagan was our damaged link. When he touched the ball it stopped our attack.
He was the reason we were flopaganing.

When Reynolds was at 5/8 that was our best attack all year.

Second half was more of a defensive effort.
Can't take away how good our defence was.

They scored when we had 1 man down in the bin.

And from a mistake TPJ did with silly off load.

We will win more games and make the 8

It’s quite telling that an 18 year old debutant replaced him and looked more dangerous. Karl didn’t look out of place. He was sus in defence which drags targeted but he held on mostly.

We're lacking the quality with our first graders out, the fact we're still competing hard is a positive.

The frustration comes through during the match but the reality is with the quality available you cannot fault the effort and we're seeing signs of an organisation well drilled team in patches.

Josh Reynolds still hasn't lost to the dragons. He needs to take a clue though with this ref, he is too emotional, can't maintain equilibrium.

I saw that last week vs the Jets, it's the decision making in D but that will come with time. His contact in tackles is there, physically he handles it.
