They are way too structured in attack and they are just setting up for a play at the end of the tackle count. Whenever we get a repeat set or a off load they look to settle things down with a hit up instead of playing what’s in front of them.

When Meaney made a half break everyone was set for the next play and support was late and you could see everyone scrambling to adapt to the play 1 formation instead of playing eyes up. Really highlighted how shit our systems are.

I had a nap instead of watching the game. That's how disinterested I've become in watching our games this year. It's quite sad really.

It isn't coaching. Tolman will watch the game back, hear what Blocker says, and still do the same mistake because he has no attacking mind. You're an idiot if you think this isn't brought up in video sessions too. You can only do so much and 90% of the roster is capped, no more improvement.

I'm just calling it how I see it. Pay isn't a top coach, don't get me wrong. He doesn't have to be tho. Why were the players up for the game today? They know there's no expectations on them until next year and they were 1/7 going into the game. Everyone in the know echos Pay's doing a terrific Job, Ennis again tonight.

i thought there were some encouraging signs last night. Wakeham was playing both sides of the ruck for the first time, he was also getting the ball on the advantage line instead of the back alot more as well.
Pay stated before the game they were going to play more eyes up footy and i think they did. First time in the last 2 years i saw the ball go from side to side instead of setting up for the next play.
obviously a long way to go, but get in thompson and jake and i reckon we win last night. it was step forward imo.

Blocker actually made a top call tonight.

Napa takes a hit up, three in the tackle and offloads to Tolman. He takes the run into the area Napa is. Idiot. But I don’t blame him.

You watch other teams, 90% of them take it to the other side as they’ll be short somewhere.
Why aren’t we coached the same way? Don’t blame the cattle, not hard to pass the ball sideways so the ball is in the hands of someone who knows what to do!

We had numbers to the left and we didn’t take it. And that’s a wrap, we’re done

no foran said before the game they were going to play more eyes up footy, i thought they did last night, still along way to go but it was a massive improvement imo, especially the first half.
i think when they were fatigued they fell back into old habits in the second half unfortunately.

agree especially at the end when chricton made a break then they got the ball staright to meaney and he made a break which was good

ive been highly critical of his game plan but i thought last night was the best we have looked with the ball and we will only get better with jake and thompson coming in this week.
only problem with elliot going is we lack any pace on the edges.
